Ch 12: kissing ghosts
- [ ] Well that definitely was a different and quite funny chapter! At least until the very end when it got pretty gloomy
- [ ] But I find it cool how they each are blue and have their own special power
- [ ] I'm curious about this Rule

Ch 13: purgatory soup
- [ ] Ah so that's the Rule, no evidence of life. Makes sense they have to hide if all the gods and goddesses are dead and it looks like the people of the Unseen city are completely unaware that they are survivors
- [ ] But I find Minya's power to be the most cruel at the moment
- [ ] Binding ghosts to do her will and trap them? That's a terrifying fate for a 6 year old

Ch 14: beautiful and full of monsters
- [ ] Well, a story, beautiful,and full of monsters? Can't wait to hear it!
- [ ] I'm liking how Lazlo is growing in these chapters, both intellectually and physically
- [ ] And while I still despise Nero, especially when he told everyone about Lazlo being only an operan and I am so glad he was shocked and didn't recognise him after 4 months!

Ch 15: the oldest story in the world
- [ ] Well I certainly liked that story. It's no wonder he's called Strange the Dreamer, he really has a way of telling stories. I do wish I knew someone like that, who could tell stories from their memory
- [ ] Like dad did tell me many myths and legends from his home country but I want more stories XD
- [ ] I wonder how the Godspawns will react when they find out that humans are going to their city

Ch 16: a hundred smithereens of darkness
- [ ] I really like Sarai but every time I read about her power and how it is described, I always get freaked out
- [ ] Like having hundreds of moths come out of her mouth?! Yeah not a fan at all.
- [ ] But it's interesting to learn about the others' power and about the city after the carnage occurred. Like everything just froze in time, and even Minya is technically frozen in age

Ch 17: muse of nightmares
- [ ] If I had Sarai's powers I’ll also have trouble opening my mouth to take them back in! How dreadful
- [ ] I also find Minya quite dreadful as well, a six year old who never ages and yet speaks about death and vengeance like it’s breakfast or something
- [ ] But now we know that Eril-Fane is the godslayer and he is coming back soon. For what? We will see

Chapter 12:
(view spoiler)[I like them already. All of them. The kissing was fun, Sparrow and so was the rest. I wonder what powers others have. So the Blue’s are good, and the one who died, in the beginning, was good too. Why did she die, who kills them? That bird thing? I think we’ll lose some of them eventually. (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 13:
(view spoiler)[Alright so the name of Weep (the real name) vanished when Isagol did something, and maybe her actions are the reason these 5 gods/goddesses (are they?) are confined? So she’s Wraith! I think she dropped that seed because she needed them alive (assuming she is still the enemy) What’s Minya’s age? Is she really 6? I wanna know Sarai’s power now. Really. I didn’t realise the Rule was self-imposed. So the people of Weep killed Isagol and thought they killed the rest too? How does Sarai kiss their foreheads if they think she’s dead? In their dreams? Chapter 14:
(view spoiler)[That was a weird monster! Threaves. I like Calixte and Nero doesn’t bother me so much now that Lazlo has had his dream. Does Sarai haunt them? It could be that she haunts them in their dreams. I’m excited to see how they’ll understand everything just by a glance at the city. (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 15:
(view spoiler)[Alright, I know Nero will do something at the wrong time for Lazlo. I loved the story, and I do want it to be true or at least closer to the truth. (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 16:
(view spoiler)[Feral is wild, lol. I liked the humour there. I wanna know why everything in the citadel froze upon the death of Minya’s father, Skathis. It was interesting to know that Sarai’s father was a human and he plotted to kill the Gods. Her scream was so creepy-like right out of a horror book! Seriously moths? (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 17:
(view spoiler)[Muse of Nightmares. The title only hinted to me that the second book was named on it. I'm almost glad Sarai is the center of it. So okay, Misarthims (aka Gods) ruled for 2 centuries and then they were killed in the last 15 years, yes? Are these Gods and Seraphims the same thing? What will she make of the new arrivals? The Faranji. (hide spoiler)]

Ch 12:
Yes, I think the blue color was pretty cool but sadly it's not good for them.

Ch 13:
Yeah, I think she teases them to be cruel and to spend some of her hatred on them. It sure is cruel. I wanna know why she'll look 6 forever.

Ch 14:
Me too! I'm loving how Lazlo is growing into himself. I love that he answered back to Nero and that he is more confident.

Ch 15:
Haha, my dad tells stories too. My paternal grandmother had the most but sadly she's no more with us. I miss her! As for humans, I think they'll eventually come to the citadel anyway.

Ch 16:
Yeah, I really wanna know why everything froze. Why why why.

Ch 17:
I still wanna know about that bird. Who was she? Is Sarai's father still alive? Could he be Eril Fane? Am I insane? I'm fascinated with Sarai, I mean her moths don't really materialise in her mouth-only touch her lips. Wow.

P.S. It's wonderful how we notice things and forget about them until we read someone else's thoughts, isn't it?

ch 12: yeah the kissing was pretty funny, but I love how he was able to control the rain and drench her completely haha!

ch 13: 5 gods/godesses confined? I thought they were dead?
With Sarai, as we read later, she visits them in their dreams, but she is a ghost to them, they cannot see her so she is able to do whatever she wants to them. I think that's why Minya really likes her powers and wants her to cause people harm.
But I feel Sarai is so gentle

ch 14: yes! It will be a mystery when they enter and see the city, their reactions will be grand! Especially Lazlo!

ch 15: yep I agree, Nero will defs do something to make Lazlo look bad, or at least make himself seem more smarter. And yeah I liked the story too! Haha

ch 16: yes, it is weird to know that Sarai's father was human, maybe that's why she doesnt have a strong hatred to them, not like Minya's
Minya's father Skathis, was probably the head god yeah? It would make sense why the place froze upon his death

ch 17: Yes, me too, I like how Sarai will be the centre of it all! And yeah they were killed 15 years ago, but I dont remember if they tell us why there was a war between gods and humans?
It will be interesting to see how the Godspawn (Sarai and her other siblings) will take to the Faranji

Ch 18: the fuse of bones
- [ ] Wait, so Lazlo's theory was right?
- [ ] Omg I teared up reading about Eril-fane's mother having to fuss over Lazlo ! I keep forgetting he doesn’t know what mother or father love is !

Ch 19: the shadow of our dark time
- [ ] Okay wait, I’m confused now, so there’s a big shadow sphere over the City? Is that why it’s dark? And it acts as a barrier for the Godspawn to not go out or anyone to go in?

Ch 20: dead men’s news
- [ ] Oh boy that dream was pretty intense! No wonder she doesn’t want to dream. Weird how she can’t control her own nightmares but she can for others
- [ ] Oh could great Ellen be the white hawk? But how come she can change into an animal? I thought she was human !
- [ ] Okay so what will they do ? Now that the Godslayer is coming back? I think Minya May have something planned, and Sarai doesn’t look happy about it !

Ch 21: the problem in Weep
- [ ] Okay, interesting, a sphere like dome is covering the city, blocking its light. But this isn’t the place where the godspawn are at yeah? It’s just where the people are staying at and the godspawn are elsewhere ?

Ch 22: pattern of light, scribble of darkness
- [ ] Wow the hawk again! That white bird! What or who are you?!
- [ ] Sooo, Eril-fane killed Isagol, which is a goddess and Sarai's mother, and now she will soon meet her father and her mother's killer. Jeez what a family reunion!

Should the next bit be 23-31?

Chapter 18:
(view spoiler)[Hahaha, Calixte’s gloating was pleasure. Her gift was so sweet. I guess Eril Fane is growing grim because he knows he and his people will again suffer through those nightmares. I think he’ll get to visit that library and Master Hyrrokkin again. He’ll be a different person then. He already is. I loved the things Lazlo felt, this was so bittersweet. (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 20:
(view spoiler)[This was scary! What the hell did Skathis and the gods do to the children? I think we’ll know. Of course they hated them. I did not expect Yaselith to tell Sarai to kill herself. I feel like it wasn’t her tolerance to lull but something else. Maybe Faranji? That hawk thing the Great Ellen did was funny. Is it weird that I think Minya would is so full of hatred that she won’t even let the other 3 ever feel for humans without hurting them too? OMG I WAS RIGHT! ERIL_FANE IS HER FATHER! So the faranji were brought to also destroy the citadel? I know she scared them so they won’t even look at it but they could maybe use the faranji to just destroy it. Maybe they are tired of nightmares. (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 21:
(view spoiler)[Finally. So if the Mesarthim weren’t Seraphim then does that mean we might see the Seraphims too? Wow, this is so much better! I’m dying with anticipation! (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[Oh, could the bird be the Seraphim? Or maybe the bird was the one who helped Eril Fane kill the Gods? Or maybe it wants Godspawn to live. I don’t know! God, I think she knows what is happening and was always waiting for this. (hide spoiler)]

Agreed! Both of these things :) I was so sad too but glad that he got that feeling finally!

You got farther than me in this, Kare :) Godspawn can come out. Remember Minya reminds them with the hatred of Ghosts that they are not to leave because they'll be killed. So it implies that they could go out.

Yes, weird. Poor Sarai :/ No, Great Ellen was a dead God, I think. She has powers. I think. I wonder what they'll do. They have no where to go!

It is! They are in the citadel and the faranji are brought to tear it down! Because Sarai scared the locals from even looking at it.

Ch 18: yes! I noticed that too, that Eril fane and his people would be grime whenever they spoke about the city. And it’s no wonder

Human children. They said in the beginning of the chapter that the Mesarthims took away girls and boys and returned them with scars and no memory of their time in the citadel. Remember?

Hmmm that’s a good point, maybe the citadel is making them have nightmares

Sarai sends her moths and gives them scary dreams, and in the end of each dream she scares them of the citadel so that they don't even look at it.

Maybe it's an ally to none. She gave the Godspawn a seed to grow and she could have helped Eril-Fane destroy or maybe it was Eril Fane alone. I have a feeling there's so much more going on.
