Florida was just starting to adjust to spring. And Simone was just getting used to winter. That was how it usually worked. The trees no longer sagged with the missing wait of leaves, but rose with the pride of blossoms. Grass decided that it was warm enough to come out in bright colors. And flowers decided that the sky looked quite alright to bask in. But Simone was still getting used to winter.
Cold temperatures was not Simone's thing. So she was alright with the oncoming spring.
She decide that she was going to have a little fun, she was going to skip. No one was around. Well, at least no one she cared about. So she did she put a smile on her face and skipped. It felt good.
It didn't last long before her face felt solid ground. She obviously hadn't skipped in a while.

When she glanced up she saw a girl heading her way. She didn't look familiar. Wait-she was that girl from that ice cream place! What in the world was she doing on the other side of town?

"No, no. I'm, I'm alright. I just tripped. But, yeah, thank you!" She tried to smile. It was slightly embarrassing. Good thing her face was probably already red from the fall.
But what was worse was that another girl came up to them. She seemed to not know what happened. This was too much.

She answered the first question before the next. "I go to the ice cream place you work at sometimes." She turned to the next girl, " And I go to school just around the corner."
She searched for an excuse to get out of this but couldn't come up with anything. And this got started by the ground painfully meeting my face, she thought.

She glanced at the girl to her right who was looking down at the grass coming out of the cracks in the concrete. "What's your name?"

After Hannah left, Simone still stood there, quite dumbfounded. What just happened?

"What are you doing, Mom?" Simone said when she reached her mom.
"Well, I thought you wouldn't be home until later, so I invited some people over."
"And did they invite a few glasses? I thought you didn't like that stuff."
"Well, I do like some. But, why does it matter? They'll leave soon. You just go to your room."
That seemed to be Simone's specialty.

Simone turned around. "What, Mom?"
"Oh, someone's fainted at the beach. It won't take very long. Be back soon."
"Yes, you will, if you don't change."
Oh," her mom said, "right." Her mom went to change.
When she came back, and everyone had left, her mom asked her if she would come with her to get some experience in what she does. Simone was forced, basically.
They left shortly for the beach closest to their house.

It was Hannah.
Of, course it was. She should have known.

She walked over to stand beside her mother. She waved. "Yeah, it's Simone," she said to Hannah, "And, thank you," she said to the new girl, with some kind of lump hidden behind her.

And when A.J. turned to Hannah, asking her name, Hannah seemed to go slightly pale. Simone decided to fill in the blanks. "Uh... she's Hannah."

"Come on," her mom said. "She seems to be alright."
Simone followed her mom back to the car.

1. i dont know what to put and
2. ive been busy
I will try to post next monday, i promise))

"So, how long you been working there?" Simone asked.

Shya stares at her phone as she walks into the Ice Cream Palace. Her hair bouncing and excitement radiating off of her, but her face remains impassive. Shya sits down and shrugs her back pack off into the floor under seat.

Hannah looked uneasy. She guessed they were going to talk about A.J. But Hannah hadn't said anything.

Shya looked up from her phone at the two girls, but quickly looked back down again.
"Come on! A+ give me an A+!" She whispered to herself. She has been waiting all day for her test results to come in, if she got an "A" she would get an ice cream. If she got any lower she would get a spinach smoothie from down the road.

Shya looked up at the boy her eyes start to well with tears.
"Umm...I'm actually going to go down the road. But thanks."
She grabbed her bag and walked out of the Ice Cream Palace before any tears could fall.
"I can't believe I got a C! A, C for cryin out loud!!" She'd worked hard on her robot design this year, but if course it wasn't good enough. It rarely ever was.
