Bubbles99 | 22 comments Hi!

I started reading this book on a school camping trip in 1990 /1991 /1992 and unfortunately I didn’t finish it! It has become my moby dick of historical romance 😬

This is what I remember:

- it’s a historical romance set in the 1800s (possibly 1700s)
- it’s set in England
- the book starts with the hero climbing into a room in the middle of the night. I’m not sure if he’s a thief or a spy. Either way, he’s looking for something.
- The heroine finds him in the room or she is sleeping in the room (I can’t remember). She’s still a child at this stage, possibly between 6 to 10 years
- they meet years later when she is older (I can’t remember how unfortunately)
- the cover was blue / dark blue possibly and didn’t have people on it. It was flowers or bows or swirls or some such
- I think the title had “angel” in it
- published sometime before 1992

I have spent many an hour searching google & goodreads for all books with angel in the title and have come up with nothing. For a log time I thought it was by Johanna Lindsey and have even read all her books with angel in the title.

I hope someone can help 😊

Thank you!

Indira Destiny (dindirawati) | 1 comments Have you try to read Prince of Dreams? Your description reminds me of it, although there are a lot of differences such as:
- the book starts with the hero came across the heroine in a garden, I think it is in the middle of the night, the heroine was waiting for her suitor
- the beginning of the book started when she already older, but they met at the first time when she was younger
- the cover was lavender, with a castle drawing
- the book is a continuity from "Midnight Angel", the heroine in prince of dreams was the daughter of the couple on midnight angel
- set in 1877 in london
- published in 1995
