Kia ora. I'm Rebekah - I'm a Mum of two preschoolers, a journalist and I also review for NZBooklovers. I've always loved YA and even more so if it's Kiwi. There's something special about seeing ourselves reflected back in a book. I'm super lucky to have a job where reading is an absolute requirement. Excited to see this space grow.

Along with YA, I love crime, chick lit, the odd bit of non-fiction and comics/graphic novels too. I'm super excited for Turning Pages because I love YA, and it's what I read when I need to escape from reality, so I'm excited to have a place to talk about it with like-minded bookworms!
Aside from reading, my hobbies are crafting, baking and playing with my adorable fluffball of a Puppy.

I’m Sophie, a 24 year old graphic designer from Wellington. When I’m not at work I’m usually doing one of my many side projects; blogging over at sofilly.com, hosting a podcast Rants and Reviews, or doing hand lettering for @sofillyletters on Instagram.
When I’m not doing any of that I’m all about the books! While I may not be classed as a young adult (what’s the cut of these days??) it’s still the genre I read most followed by fantasy and a cheeky romance or two.

I'm Anjali; blogger (This Splendid Shambles blog), writer, podcaster (Rants and Reviews with Sophie), photographer, traveller, Huffledor-Gryffinpuff (long story), and of course, reader.
I mostly read YA, but also love fantasy. Lately I've been getting into comics and graphic novels too, so if you have any suggestions ... !

I'm a lover of NZ books. I would love to read some Kiwi YA - I also have a weakness for American High School YA.

I’m Maquaela, I’m nineteen and I’m a History and Media student at the University of Auckland. I’ve been reading ever since I can remember!

I'm Brooklynne and American born Transwomen who has lived in Lower Hutt for the past 13 years and have started my own book blog! I read all kinds of books but mostly magical realism, thrillers, and anything Young Adult. If you re keen my blog is in my profile, I'd love honest opinions on what people think, and can't wait to get to know you all!
Thanks!

I've been blogging for over six years on my blog Diva Booknerd and also run the AusYABloggers group, which supports young adult bloggers and readers from Australia and New Zealand. I love meeting new readers from around our region so don't be shy, please say hello or give me a shout on Twitter where I usually hang out pretending to be one of the cool kids.

Apart from reading in my spare time I love heading to the gym & going to boxing.

Hi everyone! I'm joanna (jo), I'm 25 and I live in Auckland. I'm a huge reader, and basically it has kept me going over the last few years (have a few chronic illnesses and wasn't able to do much else)
But now I am just about to start my first job in 5 years as a librarian :) YAY

I’m almost finished with my degree in psychology and English, and have no idea what I’m doing when I’m done.

My names Hayley and I am a book lover from New Zealand!
I read a lot of YA and am always on the lookout for my next favourite book! I write a blog called 'Not Just a Pretty Face' where I review books, write essay type posts, travel and beauty content.
I would love to have the opportunity to review books, and I have always wanted to publish one of my own so getting my writing up to scratch, and being able to read a hell of a lot to be able to become the best writer I can is important to me!
Can't wait to have some great discussions within this community! x

And would love to find out a bit more about others in the group?
I am a kiwi mum to 4, my eldest is 11 (nearly 12) and youngest is 1. I am raising book loving children - and I am so pleased at this! Getting lost in the pages of a book is a magical thing.
I have been reading YA for a few years, but now that my tweenager is reading YA it makes it that bit more exciting as we can discuss together! I only wish that there was more of this genre when I was that age, instead I was sneaking into my mums book case and reading Danielle Steel!
Looking forward to finding out more about Turning Pages, the discussions, new books and hopefully some read alongs. I have recently found a library book club for myself, and my 11 and 10 year olds are desperate to go along to one, so a virtual book club that all 3 of us can read together would be amazing!
