Amalthea left the decision of when to let her die up to Maura. Why? Do you think she had some ulterior motive?

I saw it as just another one of her attempts to make Maura feel guilty.

It was a mean attempt to get the last word and action. I’m so glad this woman is gone.

Definitely another way of manipulating Maura. I'm glad that Amalthea wasn't successful in this regard - Maura definitely seems at peace with her decision to allow Amalthea to die.

I would have given the go sign and never looked back.

It was a way to keep Maura tied to her right up till the end.
