I started Skyward by Brandon Sanderson and SF about a teen girl becoming a starfighter pilot. I am reminded of my feeling when I read Starman Jones by Heinlein when I was a teen. Love it!

John | 24 comments Christopher Rice Blind Fall A Density of Souls Finished Blind Fall and just started Density of Souls by Christopher Rice. He certainly is good with detail and description. Not sure I follow the motivations of his characters.
Also read Narrow Rooms by James Purdy in April. Really bizarre book of gay mental and physical torture and published in the 1970s. Narrow Rooms.
