So I found a new Scattergories game that I immediately bought and played. I knew I had to make some kind of challenge out of it. The game is called Scattergories Categories.

This is both a spell out game as well as a scavenger hunt. A topic is given and to spell out the word you need to use the hint given. For example a card can read "NINE TO FIVE ~ Things you might see in an office". So you would have to find things that you can find in the office that starts with one of the letters that you find in your book.

EX:
Notepad~ pg 125 in (Title) by (Author)
I
N
E
Tape~ (cover Picture of book)
O
Folders~ (title of book) by (author)
I
V
E

To find a word that starts with a letter in the topic you can use:

1. Main Character Names
2. The Title of the Book (doesn't have to be the first word but must be in the title)
3. The cover of the book can have the picture of your word
4. The word is somewhere in your book. In this case you have to put the page number down with the sentence the word is in, as well as link the book.
6. Settings (countries or states)

Levels & Duration:
1. Easy~ 5-10 categories- 1 year from start date
2. Medium~ 11-25 categories- 2 years from start date
3. Hard~ 25-35 categories - 3 years from start date

Hmm I'll leave it up to you cuz I know its alot of books. I'm fine with whatever You'd like to do. I'm not picky. I just want you to have fun :D

Nancy (nancyhelen) | 43 comments Ok, I am going to make it REALLY tough and try and do one book per task. Although I think I'll add another category which takes me to 25 and then means I have 3 years to do it rather than 2!
