Even though May is a spring month, for BC faculty/staff and students, "summer" functionally begins with the upcoming Commencement on Saturday. So, what do you plan to read over the summer break?
My summer reading is likely to be less extensive than usual this year. Plans are for my oldest daughter to visit us in August, with her husband and new baby, so I won't be doing any reading then. Also, Barb and I won't be taking as many road trips as usual (if any), so there won't be as much reading in our "car book."
Still, we do plan to start reading Doctor in Petticoats, the first book in Mary Connealy's Sophie's Daughters trilogy, together. On my own, I'm planning to do some serious Jane Austen reading. I want this to be the year that I finally read all of the four of her novels that I've never read so far.
