Jenny killed Prudence for murdering her son and sister. It appears she will go unpunished by the law. Your thoughts on the situation?

Phrynne | 607 comments This situation occurs repeatedly in this series and I guess we just have to accept that that was how it was then.

I guess it just continues to confirm that was the way it was in that era. If I think about justice in the context of those times, I guess Jenny exacted justice for Charles and Daisy. She’s going to live a lifetime of pain...alone.

Veronica (readingonthefly) | 694 comments I didn't have any sympathy for the old bat so Jenny going unpunished doesn't bother me. She's now without the only two blood family members she had, people she loved dearly, but she's still stuck in a loveless marriage. She may be in a gilded cage, but it's still a cage.

Well said, Veronica, including the old bat comment😏

Lauren (laurenjberman) | 2240 comments Prudence was a cold-blooded, callous and twisted woman. She was responsible for the deaths of three innocent people and I have no problem with Jenny's exacting justice for them the way that she did. I doubt the legal system of the time would have achieved justice for them.
