Though Lucy doesn’t make an appearance, do you feel we learned something about her from this story?

Karen ♐ (kmk1214) | 909 comments Other than Lucy not being allowed to go out on her own, I don't remember anything about her.

Lauren (laurenjberman) | 1808 comments She seems to be a typical teenager here.

Charlene (charlenethestickler) | 1203 comments My memory doesn't produce anything about Lucy.

I also learned that she probably had a different kind of childhood because of Justin’s abduction as they were only months apart in age.

Melissa (melissasd) | 676 comments It's good to know what happened with Justin and how it may have affected her childhood.

Knowing there's a series about her, I did wonder how the murder of Justin would affect & play into the woman she'll become. I think she is probably being sheltered a bit more than just another teenager because of it, and she's also dealing with the fact that it put a big rift between Justine's mother & Carina. I wonder how the author will use the murder to develop Lucy's character in future books.

Early on, I also feared she might be taken & tortured by the killer - but would be rescued, of course. But I dismissed the possibility as the story evolved.

I was worried about that, too, Sandra.

I concur about Lucy being raised more sheltered than she normally would have been. It was a natural reaction.

Yes, I was sort of expecting this as well as there was something about Lucy spending time online.
