The Thing About Jellyfish discussion

Suzy is a nice girl she’s a very quiet but is smart. She has a speaking problem, where she decides not to speak. She instead thinks about the things she wants to talk about. Since she doesn't talk everyone ignores her. She doesn’t care to much about it, because she doesn’t like most of the people. Her best friend Franny drowned in the summer after something really bad happened between them. I she thinks that she needs to prove that Franny’s death was not “something that just happens.” She was at the aquarium looking at jellyfish and decided Franny was stung by one and did not drown. I wonder what happened between them and if she could’ve fixed it. And if Suzy did try to fix it what went wrong? Also if Suzy did tell Franny how she felt did Franny listen to her? I wonder if at the end of the book Suzy will somehow talk to Franny and Franny will give her a sign that she forgives Suzy.
