Hanna did not care for reading when she was young. She enjoyed the pictures first, reading came later. Do early memories of one's relationship to books affect one's life as a reader? If one begins with a bad experience, can it be adjusted later? Does it make a difference to one's experience as a reader if one has heard stories told before coming to books?
