I started reading today~
Why did I forgot how awesome Rowan is? Though I want to know more about Curie and Faraday, I really miss them!

I really like how the entrys are now from the Thunderhead itself hehe.. it's adds another level of interest for me

Yes, the thought of Thunderhead adds a lot of potential to the story. I think of it as Google who controls us all -even if google hasn't a IA...yet.

I'm all caught up now hihi and I actually prefer Rowan and Citra's relationship in this book compared to Scythe because here their romance seems to make more sense. The romance in the previous book was pretty out-of-nowhere for me.

Totally agree, duh. On the first book was... "hey, I just want to kiss you" "Why?" "Just because" And I was all like ???? excuse me?

I still prefer them as just friends but let's see how this ends up.

actually I shipped Rowan with Volta, the friendly Goddard's scythe.

Now they had added a character that "represents" the Thunderhead! I think this book will have a lot of plots that mix all the characters.

Chapter 24 - (view spoiler)[I like how the story is starting to expose the Tonist culture more here and it's really interesting to see Citra's reactions to seeing someone whose way of life is still like that of someone who lived in the Mortal Age (hide spoiler)]

I'm sorry but I can't stop myself from reading XD the world building is getting better if that was even possible. I'm also understanding the Thunderhead so much more and the Scytheverse is less contained.

The writing explored a lot more of the world and I'm getting so much more invested <3

i am on chapter 45, and I almost finish the book.
I'll try to write what I think apart from the other comment that I think all readers think. *insert angel emoji here*

I love the parts from Thunderhead, that's a robot that really thinks even if it have little emotions. I didn't think it could feel betrayed from humans but at that moment, when they created it (mire or less our times, uh?) humanity knew what could happen if there existed an AI that ruled the world. Humanity needs something to destroy or reset it (or so I think because I didn't read it that part if they say something.

About the characters... uf, I like them all. Anastasia had a lot of new knowledge and I think it's going to be so badass soon. And poor Rowan that always gets captured and tortured, but he's so strong right now, mentally and physically.
Can't wait to finish it tomorrow (my brain stopped working a few minutes ago haha).

Yeah, the Thunderhead's thoughts are really interesting to read

I've finished the book. Wow. I expected a bloodbath from Goddard, so the inundation didn't surprise me. But I didn't expect that Rowan and Citra were sealed under the sea until... when? I think Thuderhead wants Greyson to rescue them so its plans continue. I'm sad that Faraday and Munira didn't appear :( because I really want to know what's on Nod.
and I just want to cry about Marie's suicide. I really really loved her! T.T

If the first book was about the scythe, the next Thunderhead... will the next one be about the religion? (I don't know how it's said in english). I didnt want to continue this series but I can't stay with this cliffhanger neither!

The ending was far from what I thought would happen to be honest.

I loved Marie as well!! But I really liked that whole scene and I liked the meaning behind how the other Scythes were also willing to follow her lead. She really would have made a great (insert name for what you call the leader of Scythes in Mid Merica, I forgot)

Yes, I didn't think Thunderhead would get sick of humanity, but.... I understand that it didn't want what happened with Goddard. Because it knows that, right?

I think it have to! It would be a really awesome final book. And after the screams of thunderhead, I think the religion would be a whole different thing, maybe a lot of people would get introduced to it.
