i thought this was good enough to buy. its essays and short stories. he talks about state of poetry, the hippies failures, horse racing, its really good. its in chronological order, starts off with a story he wrote in the 40's.

Stosch | 14 comments its not bad, its a biography, the authot shows some of the viewpoint of some of buk's ex girlfriends/wife. you get a more rounded picture of the man. i knew most of this stuff because ive read so much of his work, but yeh its worth a read.

Stosch | 14 comments i personally am not buying any more of his books, if he was alive i would. but harper collins is getting rich off these books and i doubt buk's widow is getting much back. just my opinion ofc.

Stosch | 14 comments i really enjoyed this The Poems of Francois Villon . this edition has the best notes to explain what hes talking about. read the wikipedia page on villon first that helps understand the man and the times. 14th century. he was brilliant.

havent read baudelaire.

Kent Winward (kentwinward) | 5 comments Really, you can't go wrong if his name is on the spine. One cool thing I discovered though was I have a signed, limited edition hardback of The Last Night of the Earth Poems I discovered looking at my books this morning.
