What's the Name of That Book??? discussion

I read this book maybe 10 years ago.

It was a girl in a library and she had to protect the books so they wouldn't escape into the world.

It was like protecting the world from the characters of the book.

EDIT: Characters may be called Histories and I believe the cover is blue.

Maybe one of the ink heart stories?

Possibly Story Thieves There's no Captain Hook, but there's a Captain Twilight.

@Annaliese. No that was released too recently. I read the book about 10 years ago. This looks fun though so I will check it out.

No I realized I had two separate books that had different things but sounded similar so I started a new thread.

This one I believe was an adult book the other query was a young adult I think.

I know they sound super similar.

I remember some more about this one. I think the characters were called histories and the cover was blue.

And I think that I was wrong about Captain Hook so I am removing that from the original post.

The Archived has “histories” and a blue cover.
