Good to know! I got pretty far into it and then put it down for another book I had been waiting on from the library. I need to get back into it soon! I did enjoy what I have read so far!

Like Odysseus, Casiopea leaves her small Yucatan village and embarks on a journey, which like all literary journeys, will be a journey of self-discovery. The various themes explored in this novel includes courage under adversity, forgiveness, and what it means to be human. The primary characters were clearly described and I especially enjoyed how Hun-Kamé godhood diminished while his humanity grew. The manner in which the novel ended leads me to believe that their will be a sequel. I hope so! For my full review, please click here.
