If anyone is looking for a book, I highly recommend The Nocturnal Brain: Nightmares, Neuroscience, and the Secret World of Sleep.
It is well-written with a narrative style that makes the medical and scientific terminology easy for the layperson to understand. The subject matter is utterly fascinating and not a little bit scary.
