In another tight contest, we have selected The Restoration of Christian Culture, by John Senior as the September 2019 BOTM. Restoration received 5 votes. The closest other books were Out of the Ashes and Return of the Prodigal Son, with 4 votes each and Ascent of Mt. Carmel, Bearing False Witness and Knowledge and Christian Belief with three votes each.

Two books didn't receive any votes - American Catholics and Broken Mary. As American Catholics is protected from the randomizer this month, Broken Mary will be removed from the nominations list next month. The new books on the list next month will be Four Witnesses: The Early Church in Her Own Words, by Rod Bennett (nominated by Mariangel) and The Everlasting Man, by G.K. Chesterton (nominated by John).

Kerstin | 109 comments The book may be a little hard to get or overpriced. I was able to receive my copies (I bought The Death of Christian Culture as well) through the Monastery at Clear Creek Abby. When on the website, read the history. It was founded by monks who graduated from Senior's Integrated Humanities Program at the University of Kansas.

Mariangel | 717 comments In Barnes&Noble, the electronic version is $10.99. The paperback seems to be out of stock.

Kerstin | 109 comments Barnes and Noble also has the paperback for $ 9.95 - much better than Amazon!

Joseph, you can renominate a book if you want. If you do so, it goes to the end of the wait list and eventually will be back on the voting list.
