J. W. Garrett (jeannewallacegarrett) | 1252 comments What a loaded trope we have here. It can range from the boo-spook of Halloween loaded with magic and paranormal activity [vampire vs werewolf] to the science fiction of a space odyssey. I may have to separate it into smaller segments. So... nothing is etched in stone and is subject to change.

Chelsea (crystal_dark) | 512 comments I actually was just making a list of paranormal supernatural books on listopia. I wasn't including science fiction though. Here is a link to my listopia list: https://www.goodreads.com/list/show/1...

Chelsea (crystal_dark) | 512 comments We seem to have a few duplicates on our lists.

J. W. Garrett (jeannewallacegarrett) | 1252 comments I was just going to say that. You cover those I missed though. I suppose we should include Zombies [ugh] in this list.

Pride and Prejudice and Zombies

Dawn of the Dreadfuls

Dreadfully Ever After

Chelsea (crystal_dark) | 512 comments Bleh, I am not into Zombies either!

I suppose in the same vein we should include
Sense and Sensibility and Sea Monsters by Ben H. Winters Sense and Sensibility and Sea Monsters.

message 8: by Abigail (new)

Abigail Bok (regency_reader) Okay, I've got two very different ones: Bluebells in the Mourning by Karalynne Mackrory (paranormal/supernatural) and The Jane Austen Project by Kathleen Flynn (sci-fi/time travel featuring Jane Austen, not the characters of any particular novel).

J. W. Garrett (jeannewallacegarrett) | 1252 comments Thanks, Abigail.

Chelsea, I see you divided your group into categories. I should have considered that. Then, if someone wants a particular trope... say vampire, or whatever... they go to that list. Oh well. I knew it could get dicey as the possibilities are endless. Thanks.

I did that as an after thought when I saw your Zombie post. I also added a few more books to my list above while doing so.
