The Fall of Five discussion

Let's start a story about this series. How this game works is that you will come up with a sentence about this book/series. It has to add on to the post above yours. It can't be too off-topic, but it can be about events that actually never happened (e.g., Nine dies). Eventually, we will be able to come with some kind of story related to this series. An alien race called the Mogadorians have invaded a planet called Lorien, and, in an effort to preserve the race, nine Loric children, along with their Cêpans, or guardians, are sent to the nearest life-sustaining planet, called Earth.
