I haven't read these, but I am kind of interested in them because all of the books have different authors.

Tommy Hancock (tommyhancock) | 318 comments 39 Clues did the same thing, passed the book on to a different author each time. I think that makes a series kind of automatically semi-interesting to me.

Cas ♛ (rowangalathynius) | 404 comments There's lots of series written by various authors, and even some who are supposedly written by one author, but "ghost" authors actually do what's called "house writing" where they write the same series, with the same pseudonym.

I've heard that that's how both the Hardy Boys and Nancy Drew were written.

I've never heard of that series, but I agree. It makes it all the more interesting.

And apparently these can all be read as standalone books too, so it's could be a win both ways.

Right? I'd looked into reading some of them, but now I might have to read all of them. It's such a cool concept.

I've never heard of it done that way. That would be cool to research.

I've heard a lot more about ghostwriters this summer, and even some were speaking out about the authors they've written for. That's also something I'd like to investigate. The publishing world is just full of so many cool secrets.

I have to look into this and find more series like this to add to this folder. It might be fun to even do a series read with something like this.

Jessica I read the Wish you were Italian book. I really liked it. I finished it in like one day. I haven't read the others yet.

I entered to win that one through the First Reads program because it looked really good. I still haven't gotten to any of them (yet).

So I have an ARC of Wild Hearts. I'm hoping to find the other books soon.

I started reading Wild Hearts, and it's okay so far. I don't think it's going to break four stars for me or anything, but it's cute and corny. Lovers of YA romance will really take to it.
