I totally would go for James being with Sloan over Realm. But I really like Realm's character.. I haven't read the second one yet, but I want to read Realm's story and I am hoping that the second one doesn't forget to include Realm..

Did anyone else like Realm?

yup....i too liked realm.....i loved james-sloan pair,but for a minute i wished sloan to love and accept realm.
of course realm is there in second book.i think there is more about realm's past also,which is.....(you should read it,because we may hate him)

i think that Realm really does have some redeeming qualities and i like him a lot. i think that there's a lot more to his back-story that's still a bit unclear in the first book that we'll get to see more of in book 2.

i don't know i like the idea of Sloane/James but sometimes i wonder if it's the safe relationship - you know? while i believe that there's def love there, i don't know if it's like the usual triangles that we get where he's the safe option and Realm would bring something more challenging to the table.

You're right. Book 2 is great. I am almost finished.. Realm definitely has some issues and a sad past. But despite his faults I think he really does love Sloane.

I really like Realm and Sloan too, I feel James is not sure anymore if he loves her....

I felt like if James couldn't remember Sloan ever again, she should have gone with Realm. I could tell that he really cared for her.

Same. I hated him so much I can't express it in words. He's worse than Roger. At least Roger didn't pretend to care about the girls he slept with.

i disagree completely. roger is a rapist, he manipulated girls into having intimate interactions with him to keep a memory. realm is not nor wil he ever be worse than roger. realm really loved and cared about sloane despite what he did and his past. he saved james for her! he was part of the reason she was saved from the program the second time! throughout the whole story he's always wanted what was best for her and he always protected her. so don't say that he's worse than roger because i can guarantee he would never stoop down to the level of that pathetic rapist.

Realm as a individual I really liked. The way he would comfort Sloan and treat her was ideal, howver the only issue I ever had with him was that he was a huge liar. But no matter how nice and sweet Realm might be, I'd much rather see Sloan with James.

I liked Realm but think James and Sloan work better as a couple. I just absolutely love this series and have read every book in it and can't wait for the next to finally come out. :D

I honestly really liked Realm too . He seems like he genuinely cares about Sloan. I was torn between who I wanted her to end up with. Although her and James seem truly in love.

At first Realm is a unusual, nice dude, who becomes friends with Sloan in The Program. Then we learn a dark secret about Realm, he's a handler. Once Sloan uncovers this he stabbed her leg with a medicine to make her forget it so he with not be erased. But we can't forget he got into a fight with Roger for him harassing her. Now Realm and Sloan start to have a sort of "relationship", which I think Realm should have not took it that seriously because Sloan has no memory of her boyfriend. Plus he knew that Sloan had a boyfriend too. All I can say is that if I had to choose between Realm and James I would choose James, only because he was real with her and more honest than Realm in the book but I will continue to read the series and my opinion may change due to changes Realm might due to earn Sloans heart.

I really liked Realm in The Program, but once I read about his past in the Treatment I couldnt forgive him.

so did slone forget that realm was apart of the program when he injected her with the needle?

I actually really liked The Program and in fact ordered 3 copies for the High-School Library all of which I cannot keep in stock. I also bought one for my daughter for Christmas. I have had nothing but good comments from my students about this book.

so did Relm love Slooan or not?
