I do! It comes in very handy for finding themes, sub-genres, etc. and you generally see more opinions on the lists than on groups, where people have to join to add to a thread, etc.
I look at Listopia periodically and contribute to it every time I find a new keeper. I'm more likely to add a book to my TBR from a theme list than a genre list because they tend to be so much longer. If they're longer than 100 books, I usually have a tendency to only look at the top 100 or so.
Yeah, it does get aggravating if they're very long, unless they're specific. There are some fun ones, like best rakes, fiction with disfigured/disabled leads, historical paranormal, westerns, etc.
I'm always heading off to listopia, I like snooping aaround, finding strange themes and sub-genres. From there I'll go in and check readers booksheleves for other ideas of what to read.
I've never used it, but sounds like I should check it out. I'm sure there are some wonderful books I don't know about. I don't want to miss anything...LOL
I vote on the Lists my friends send me, or lists I see them voting on via updates. I created a couple of lists that I did not see on Listopia and I also add to Listopia when I don't see books listed. I love seeing the lists people create adding books to my ever growing TBR pile =D.
Do they sway you towards certain books?
Do you sometimes you Listopia to find new suggestions?
