To Kill a Mockingbird is an amazing novel, and so many of Grisham's books are wonderful, too.

I could go on and on about John Grisham novels Skye..they are wonderful!!!I am proud to say I own a few:)

Hi Janessa. Welcome. I hope some of those books you read are Legal Thrillers. I look forward to you input. Good luck in school.

Hi Skye. You wear many hats. I look forward to you bring all your expertise to the group.

Michael thank you for the invitation.
Like CL I love to read! My love of mystery began with Nancy Drew and blossomed out to legal thrillers.
I actually enjoy a variety of genres.
I live near Toronto and belong to a live book club that has been around for 10 years.
We all just read and discussed Gone Girl and we are all going to see it at the theater on Tuesday evening.
One of our favorite books to read and discuss was Defending Jacob.

I kinda fit into this category since my first book (writing the sequel now) was a murder mystery and involved a lot of antebellum law (which was really hard to research!) and lots of medicine, both traditional (which seems like voodoo now, which ours will 100 years from now) and mountain medicine. But I do love a good thriller.
I was born married (actually 36 years) and have three kids, the last one flying out of the nest in August after graduating college. Except for this one, who ended up with a job in Nashville (where we are), the other two are on the west coast. They went as far as they could until they hit an ocean. We either did a really good or really bad job raising them because they are very independent!
Quit the job at the doctor's office two weeks ago to just write. Life is good.

I like thrillers, mysteries, and suspense. I am looking forward to discovering new legal thrillers to read. my favorite authors are John Sandford, Lee child, Jeffrey Deaver, Michael Connelly, Robert Tanenbaum, and James Patterson.

Thanks for the invite Michael.
I live in South London. I like to read all sorts of stuff really, although not so much fantasy/paranormal/vampirey things. I'm not an analyser or reviewer - not clever enough for that! I just like to read for fun. Nice to meet you all.

My name is Kris Thompson and I am currently preparing for the release of my debut novel Black Rose which will be out November 13th. It's a suspense/thriller/psychological thriller and I'm excited to say that it is already receiving some brilliant reviews.

Jennifer, try Immoral by Brian Freeman. It's a really good book with all your elements (except I cannot recall for sure, but I don't think serial killers were part of it).

Let me know, Jerri, I would be interested in reading some of your work.

That's great, Jennifer. I just love him.

My name is Melanie and I'm an avid reader of mysteries and thrillers.
While I do write, I don't write novels (although I wish I could). I work in policy so I write lots of papers and briefing notes instead. :-)
Thanks for the invite to join the group.

I appreciate the invite to this group and look forward to reading along with you all.

I love reading any type of books. Looking forward to the discussions in this group!

Oh, Jerri, you will find dispensing with the staff and doing this yourself much more fulfilling and fun!!! You will love Goodreads-- tons of great book recommendations will come your way and you will meet many many wonderful people who will become real friends.
BTW, your book looks quite intriguing...

my name is Faouzia, and i am from Tunisia. i am actually a book addict. i read different genre of books and i really like the thriller ones, but above all i love reading a good book and discovering new authors :)
i think i will enjoy myself in this group and i am looking forward to other discussions

My name is Carys Jones I am a thriller writer from England currently published through Harlequin Books.
My novels First to Fall and its sequel Second to Cry are legal thrillers following the story of an American lawyer, Aiden Connelly.
I'm fortunate enough to be able to write full time. I live in Shropshire which is pretty rural and enjoy taking my dog for long walks in the woodlands behind my house : )

Hi Christine. Thanks for joining and look forward to your contributions.

Hi Elaine. Thanks for accepting the invite. I had to admit, I laughed when you said you are a juggler. I guess then I am a retired juggler, my kids are grown up. Enjoy the group.

Great books Marian. I just got finished reading Defending Jacob myself.

Hi Connie. I agree that writing legal thrillers are a lot more fun than briefs. I have done many myself in the past. Please let the group know if you have any books available and where we may be able to find them. Thanks for joining and look forward to your expert opinion.

Hi James. Thanks for letting us know what books you have authored. I will check them out.
