HP by far. I am still in the middle of the series. This is my first time reading them...I am a HP newbie.

Umm I've read all the Twilight books and only like the first two and a half HP books. But I'm not really obsessed with either. Sooo ... I have nothing to say. lol

NO I just really like the story. I used to be slightly obssessed with HP but then I found Twilight and very much prefer it.

Twilight was only the second series with vamps in it that I read.

I've only read a 100 pages of the first HP book and all of the Twilight series, and I must say HP beats Twilight, by far. Better writing, the plot of HP is so much more thought out than Twilight and character developement rocks. HP characters feel real, while Twilight is just to perfect (or in Bella's case, to lame)

hi 5 krista!! i used 2 love twilight until i realized that it was sooo stupid and now i just think its ok....harry potter beats it by a long shot. its not just all lovey dovey and oh bella! oh edward! scenes like krista said it has a PLOT

I don't think they're really comparable, since they're like ... totally different. They have different purposes, you know? It sort of annoys me that people get into debates over which is "better" because it's all a matter of opinion. If you ask me, I don't think either is really worth all the hype. I prefer a lot of series over both. :P

I am now re-reading breaking dawn and I feel so lost. I mean, there are parts that I like, but there are some parts that are so cheesy that I don't know why she wrote it. That's mostly why I like HP better.

Good point, Brigid. They are both completely different and each have a different purpose, but if you must compare them, HP wins in most fields.

That is agreeable, I just hate Twilight so much. A lot of people at school say I'm weird but honestly, I'm tired of reading books where everything is perfect.

I completely understand. Although, I used to be one of those girls who carried around a Twilight book wherever I went and looked up pictures online and new released scenes to the movie...I was obsessed, but now that's over I can be normal again...or as normal as I can ever be...

Wow.....that's good, see I did like Twilight, the first book period. she kind of ruined it for me when she wrote all the others. I still prefer the host to any of the other books she's written.

I was really annoyed with the obsessed Twilight fans. Always their head in that book, wearing a Twilight T-shirt everyday, conversations always consisting of Edward and Jacob.

I love the host. I could care less what people say about Twilight, but I love the Host! I loved the plot and every character. I heard that she is planning on writing a second and a third. I just hope she doesn't drag it out further than that or else it will be like Twilight...
