Did you ever suspect Amelio Bruno of either murder? When did you become suspicious and why? Did you see his attempt to murder Nelson coming?

Robin (robinmy) | 1214 comments I thought he acted suspiciously when he was introduced into the story. He didn't like that Frank was investigating Clarence's death and didn't want him talking to Harvey.

I really didn't think much about him after that until he brought flowers to Theda after her brother's death. Why on earth would he think it was appropriate to give a married woman flowers? That made me (and Sarah) very suspicious.

Charlene (charlenethestickler) | 1392 comments I agree, again, Robin.

Amelio seemed "off" when he was first introduced to us readers.

He was always on my radar but he lacked a motive in my mind until his obsession with Theda was revealed. Then I was convinced he’d killed Harvey and needed more info to peg him with Clarence’s murder.

Robin (robinmy) | 1214 comments Exactly, Jonetta. I couldn't figure out how killing Clarence and Harvey would help him.

~ Giulia ~ | 193 comments I agree he always seemed suspicious, but at the time I was still thinking the culprit had bribed the police so I didn't really consider him until the briber became known. Then when he brought Theda those flowers I started being worried for Nelson.
