Review: This was a third in a series. I really enjoyed Kyrie & Greg from book 2. They were best friends. Greg having been married and divorced to Kyrie's sister. Kyrie the flamboyant twink who I loved. He was really sweet in this installment. They both had feelings for each other, Greg definitely did know how to love his ex's brother without feeling ashamed of what they family would think. I think it happened well, my biggest issue was the anti-climatic coming out to Kyrie's parents.

Synopsis
Quiet, cautious Ella Lantz has spent her entire life in the close-knit Amish community of the Home Valley. Tending her lavender fields, she finds calm and serenity in purple blooms, heavenly scents and a simple life. But the sudden arrival of a strange visitor to her parents' home heralds a host of new complications.
Alex Caldwell is unlike any man Ella has ever met—clearly, he's no "Pennsylvania cousin," whatever the elders may say. In fact, Alex is a Wall Street whistle-blower under witness protection…and he's brought a world of trouble to the Lantz doorstep.
As Ella comes to trust—even love—a man so utterly worldly, she realizes her life has already changed forever. When it becomes violently clear that even the Home Valley is no refuge, Ella and Alex are driven into the wider world to hide. And with such a high price placed on their silence, they may not survive to share their love….
This was a very good book....there were a lot a twist and turns that kept you flipping the pages to find out what is going to happen. It was fast paced, had well developed characters, and a good suspense story with a sweet romance. I love this author she writes historical mysteries, Amish mysteries, and historical-fiction....I enjoy them all, I highly recommend this author and her books.

I think I have a love hate relationship with these books. I like the world a lot, very unique and the ending is always action packed. It's just that Morgan can drive me batty at times. She tries to come across tough as nails but really she can just be a raging idiot at times. I think if she had a little more snark and there was a smidgen of humor in these books it would make all of the difference in the world. Still I'll read the next book though. I am curious how it all plays out.

This was another fun quick read in the Vegas Vampires series. It is a very fluff read with great humor in it. In this one the heroine is pregnant with a vampires baby. That puts her in danger along with child. A real fun read if your are looking for a light and fluffy read.

Synopsis
Lucy DiCamillo is safely surrounded by her books, music, and art–but none of these reclusive comforts or even the protective efforts of her grandmother, Kitty, can shield her thoughts from the mother she can barely recall. Lucy senses her grandmother holds the key, but Kitty seems as eager to hide the past as Lucy is eager to find it.
From the streets of San Francisco and Sacramento to the lush vineyards of the Sonoma Valley, Lucy follows the thread of memory in search of a heritage that seems long-buried with her mother, Ruby.
What she finds is as enigmatic and stirring as it is startling in this redemptive tale about the power of faith and mother-daughter love.
This book was full of hidden secrets, dealing with guilt, and forgiveness. The concept of the story was good although it was a sad story. The characters were well developed. But for me it was slow, I thought I would never get to revealing the secrets of this family.
