Each number corresponds with the spot on the board.
For colors: The cover has to be at least 50%
For locations: As long as the book takes part at all in the given location .
For Shelves: Any book on the given shelf
For Publication Years: I'll be using how GR has it's publication date listed.
For Authors Names: The first, middle, or last name of the author is ok.
For Cover Items: Must have the given item on the cover
For Titles: Only the first word of the title. A, An, And, and The do not count.
So if the letter is B: The Best Day would be ok. Dear Betty would not be ok.

(view spoiler)

I was captain of my team last round and really enjoyed doing it, so if no one else ends up wanting to, I'd be happy to do that again. But if anyone else does want to be captain, that is totally fine by me. Just putting it out there :)
As far as names go... I'm really terrible at thinking them up. The only thing I can think of is like Fourtunate-- something. Horrible number puns anyone? :p

This is my second time playing and it is lots of fun. I can't wait for it to start again!
Cait, it sounds good to me for you to be captain since you have experience ;)
I don't really have any name ideas at the moment, but if anything comes to mind I will let you all know :) Fourtunate is a good start though!

This is my first time playing so I am happy not to be captain. I am really looking forward to getting started though. :)
I have no ideas for the team name currently but don't mind something along the lines of Fourtunate.

I can't wait to get started either. It's SUPER easy, Danielle, and a lot of fun. I bet you will love it.

4ever reading
Read 4 fun
4 the love of reading
I will keep brainstorming:)

Rather not be captain though."
Hi Samantha!
So far it looks like I'm captain (unless Fairlee checks in and says she'd prefer to be, which is totally fine so feel free to speak up if that's the case!) and we've been talking about our team name.
4ever Reading is the current favorite. Do you have any preference or ideas? Hillary listed a few up there or if you have any you've thought of :)

What does everyone else like?

Okay, that works for me :)
We just need to decide a team name and I'll post our decisions over at the thread. It looks like 4ever Reading and Fear The Four are the top two choices so how about everyone votes between those two and we'll go with that.
Try to let me know your choice by Thursday afternoon so we are ready to roll on Friday!

That's so nice of you, BC! Thank you :) Best of luck to your team this round!

Hillary- 4ever Reading
Fairlee- Fear The Four
Samantha- Fear The Four
Danielle- 4ever Reading
Cait- 4ever Reading
So it looks like we are going to be 4ever Reading! I really like it, hopefully everyone is good with that as well. I'll post over on the discussion thread and let them know our choices.
As for rolling goes, we can do it as early as 1 am my time tomorrow night. However the one thing I'm going to do different this time as opposed to last round is I am NOT going to wake up at 1 am to roll lol Sorry. It's winter and cold and I'm tired. But I will do it as soon as I wake up which is about 6 am. I figure 5 hours won't set us back too much :P

What We Rolled: 9
We Are On Spot: 9
What You Can Read:
- #9 in a series
- a book with a green cover (at least 50%)
Hillary- Yoga for Anxiety: Meditations and Practices for Calming the Body and Mind by Mary Nurriestearns :: Green :: Review
Fairlee- Mistletoe Man by Susan Wittig Albert :: #9 :: Review
Samantha- Isla and the Happily Ever After by Stephanie Perkins :: Green :: Review
Danielle- If I Die by Rachel Vincent :: Green :: Review
Cait- Poison Study by Maria V. Snyder :: Green :: Review

As for me, I'm going to be reading:

So I will pick

So we're just waiting to hear from Samantha on book choice and we will be good to go.
All the rest of you need to do now is read your books and post your review when you're done. If you decide to edit your original post with a review, please just make a new comment and let me know that you did that so I can find it. Or you can post your review in an all new comment, whichever you prefer. Don't forget to include the title, author, date you finished, and a 1-5 star rating along with your thoughts!

Read:

Date Finished: 15th November
Rating: 3 Stars
Review:
If I Die is book 5 in the Soul Screamers series and probably one of the better books in the whole series (that I have read as I actually skipped a few in the middle). I found it to be quite a light and relaxing read (I wound up just reading it in one sitting after telling myself just one more chapter too many times) but then that’s true for the whole series as while the series skirts around darker topics it rarely truly delves into them despite its ample opportunities. The overall plot line was quite predictable and not very absorbing but the somewhat interwoven subplot line, consisting of Kaylee slowly becoming aware of what every other character in the entire book already knows in regards to her relationship, was more enjoyable mainly because there was a kind of ‘about time’ feel to it.
Overall, while it is not a book I would be rushing to re-read (or even to finish the series) I did find it a reasonably enjoyable read.

My plan for Week One is to read Isla and the Happily Ever After by Stephanie Perkins.

You may want to run that one past Jenne over on the discussion thread, just to double check that it will be accepted as at least 50% green. It HAS green, but 50% might be a stretch. And I'd hate for you to spend your time reading it just to find out after that it won't fit.
Hopefully it'll work though! I'd love to hear what you think of it. It's been on my to read for a while now.

If you need an example, Jenne posted one on the discussion thread or you can just scroll up a ways and check out Danielle's.

I will be finishing my book early tomorrow BUT I will be sitting in line at the movie theater literally all day waiting for Mockingkay, so I won't be able to post. I'll put it up as soon as I get home late, late Thursday night. So don't worry if you don't hear from me with a review early tomorrow, I will be done in plenty of time to get our roll in right away on Friday.
How are your books, Hillary and Samantha? Good ones?

I hear you about non fiction. I try to avoid it, myself lol
Thanks! I'm really excited about it :D
