What are your thoughts? Any parts lag? What were your favourite parts?

Egwene's chapters are terrible. She's poorly written and a Mary Sue. Her influence and power feel way too UNEARNED. If Mr. Jordan was trying to make her a "girl" Rand, he failed. Rand is written so well. Everything he got felt earned and had a lot of consequences for bad decisions. Egwene just had none of that. It also doesn't help that she's a hypocrite and a terrible humanbeing pretending to be a nice person. Everything she got is just handed to her on a silver platter by her "friends". I HAD TO FORCE MYSELF TO FINISH EGWENE'S CHAPTERS! The slog HAS to be the Egwene's chapters. Man, the Aes Sedai's plot has ZERO development. It's dragged out for 2 books straight with NO payoff. I love Cadsuane tho. Her first appearance pissed me off, but now I love her. I don't know how, but she's amazingly well-written. She's an upgraded Moiraine. Rand's chapters are still the best. It's always emotional reading Rand's POVs. It's sad to see what's happening to him. Perrin had amazing start, but zero payoff. It was disappointing for Perrin's plot.
