Opposite of Always (other topics)The Fault in Our Stars (other topics)
The book had its good and bad points. It wasn't amazing, but was kind of funny. But, once again, we see what we see a lot these days: The trope where one has cancer, or is ill, and said character sometimes dies. Much like what we see in The Fault in Our Stars. Not that the trope is bad or anything, TFiOS is actually one of my favorite books. But that's because it has humor. This book's humor just wasn't great. It just wasn't funny. The cereal bit was cute, and there were some good parts. Though personally, it was a tiny bit flat. Cute, but flat. But the time travel thing was a little boring, honestly. Overall, it was an okay-ish read. It wasn't amazing, but it wasn't bad either. I probably wouldn't read it again, but it was very cute, and the actual writing was good, too.
