wow! one down already! I feel like I'm slacking lol. Just sitting down to read some now. I have about that many books here in my reading room as well. I habe shelved about 300 and habe a few more to go.

I was kind of laughing today. My husband and I went out to dinner (he's NOT an avid reader). I was telling him about this challenge and how nice it was to find people with the same feelings about books as me. told him I'd shelved about 300 and had about 100 to go. Then told him my challenge was 75 and that i just realized it would take 5 YEARS to read them all IF I meet my challenge! Sooooo, that aside I have to look at my approximately 25 banana boxes upstairs that are full. Ya know, I could prob never buy another book in my lifetime and still not finish what I have. that's sobering lol.

Oh I do that math every year. If I don't add another book to my list it will take me X years to read. Guess what? I'll never finish the list, even if I live to 100. Or 110! lol.

I just love the thrift stores, and our nearest has 10\$1 softbacks and 4\$1 hardbacks . . . LOVE to go browse there when I have the time and I always come back w/ alot of books!
