Region of Waterloo Library discussion

This topic doesn't seem to be generating much conversation. Do you usually avoid books about military conflict? Why?

I suppose I do... unless it's within the context of an imaginary world like Narnia, Middle Earth or Hogwarts! ;)

I'll read historic based novels such as Three Day Road by Joseph Boyden, but not general fiction.
