Guys, I seriously need to talk to someone about this epilogue. There was such a plot twist!! I feel like I'm going crazy over here I absolutely cannot stop thinking about it! SPOILERS MAY BE PRESENT IN DISCUSSION. I couldn't put the book down all day yesterday and ended up finishing it which I'm not sure how I feel about doing that now that I have all these questions!!!

Wow you are fast. I'm trying to prolong the book to make it last longer.

I highly suggest making it last longer! I just couldn't exert any self control and "one more chapter" just kept adding up. Now that I don't have it to read anymore I feel a little sad lol

I JUST finished and oh my gosh. That was a roller coaster

I know!! There was so much back and forth and good and evil. I saw most of the big plot twists coming (Phobia, duh) but they were still incredible. I was actually really happy with the ending, I thought it ended well and I could live in peace knowing it but then she wrote the epilogue!!! Like she's gotta go somewhere from there right?? She can't just leave that big of an "oh my god" moment and not follow through!!

There better be a ten years after thing like World of Throne of Glass or something, because I NEED to find out what happens to Magpie!!!! I still can't believe I had the luck of reading that beautiful book! Even it was great, for some reason, the whole supernova-and-everyone-had-powers thing and Ace, Honey, and Phobia's death was kind of sad...

Ok so I really wasn't planning on going absolutely crazy today but like I can't contain myself. As upset as I was when Honey, Winston, and even Ace died, I wasn't sad to see Phobia go. The second Callum was introduced he became one of my favorite characters, he was just so pure and sweet and when he picked up the helmet, for a second they just understood each other. He made them see peace, but NO Phobia came and stopped that. I feel like out of everyone in the series, Callum deserved to die the least. He was adorable and quirky, and it just hurts to know he's gone (even if he's not real) :((

I'm going to put a spoiler on most of this because I want to protect people who wander on here by accident

(view spoiler)[Oh, my gods, YES!! I love (not loved, love. He lives on) Callum, and honestly, Winston too. They're pretty much my favourite characters, apart from Nova and Adrian, of course. But I actually cried when Wonder died. There's a tear stain on the page that I am very upset about, but not as much as his death.

I also didn't like Phobia? I liked him less and less as the books went on, I think. But I kind of feel like a lot of things weren't wrapped up. I don't actually know WHAT, but I feel like they weren't. Even before the epilogue. You know what I mean? I kind of accidentally spoiled the Magpie/Evie thing for myself, so that was bad, but when I did read the couple sentences that led me to believe that Maggie was Evie I was shocked. And then I felt horrible for spoiling it. It was an overwhelming sense of grief, actually.

I was reading after Callum died, but I forgot that he did, and I was thinking about him liking something, I can't recall what, but then I remembered that PHOBIA HAD KILLED HIM and I pretty much crumpled in on myself. Also, did anyone else not like Danna? Because I hated her from the beginning and more so when she EXPOSED NOVA!!!!! Ridicule. (hide spoiler)]

There's my rant, I started doing it on a different group, and then I remembered that those people really DO NOT care about these opinions, so I came on here instead

Omg I knowww. There's just always been something about Danna that threw e off, I've never really liked her. I also feel like she was really rude at times, but that could just be me :/ I'm still so glad none of Sketch's team is gone though

Yes!! I'm actually about the read the last Throne of Glass book lmao! I just can't believe she would drop such a big plot twist at the end like that. It makes me think that there is some hope for a spin-off series

(view spoiler)[ I also didn't like Danna as much, I mean I get why she had her doubts and in the end she was just trying to protect her friends. She hadn't realized the inner fight Nova was having with herself, only Adrian could really see it at the end. My heart SWOONED when he was like "even after everything, I still really want to kiss you." LIKE WOW AMAZING. Winston and Callum's deaths did hit the hardest. Winston was finally getting his life together, and even though he and Nova were never super close, he sacrificed his progress and life to save her. Then Callum, my god this death just ripped my heart out. I was so glad to see Phobia go, I mean how can you kill someone who just wants to show everyone the good in life??

Can we also talk about how Lady Indomitable died the night Nova's family died!!! Like what a coincidence that they were actually following through this whole time, and Phobia was the one who ruined it all. I cannot believe that Ace was the one who killed Nova's family, that was such an insane plot twist to think all this time Nova never knew the truth and this confusion could've been cleared if they just would've just realized Ace's Anarchy's niece was David's daughter!! I am shook, shook I tell you! (I also have no idea how you hide certain spoiler stuff so fair warning SPOILERS AHEAD!!)

I didn't care much for Danna either, even though she was right blah blah, she was just far too freakin self-righteous for my liking. And I don't think anything really suffered all that much from her being stuck in swarm form, just saying. Although my heart was in my mouth when she woke up and revealed the truth to Adrian!!

I agree wholeheartedly about Callums tragic death, and at the hands of phobia no less! God I have that guy. Have to say I was surprised at myself for almost shedding a year for Winston too, the way he jumped in front of Nova was bloomin heroic to say the least and his death damn near broke my heart.

Didn't feel a thing for Ace however, good riddens in my book. So glad the Captain dragged himself up to finish the job (cause for a minute there I honestly thought he was a goner). And poor little Max how he was so devastated to be taking all that power for himself!! He is such an absolute cutie!

And that ending!!!!! Never saw it coming, Magpie irritated me the entire way through and to find out she was actually Evie I was like whaaaaaat?! It came out of nowhere like holy moly. My heart, almost couldn't take it.

Really really loved this series and so sad it's over :(

Maggie's walking and then she sees Leroy. It doesn't actually say it's Leyroy but it says it's a man with a deformed face or something, so you assume it's him. And he sees Magpie and smiles.

I loved this entire series, however, I thought the ending was a bit too cliched (excluding the epilogue) I had figured that Ace was the one who ordered the hit on the family because it is a trope that has been used several times in the past, and also, it was too happy.
Now for the epilogue...yeah...I gasped, but I thought it was a bit out of place. Maybe I didn't want to accept it/like it because I was never a fan of Magpie or maybe I just really want to see the plan for another book that is a branch of the series before my acceptance.

Oooh yes now I remember that about him smiling!! And you knew Ace ordered it?? I had no idea it was coming!

Hey, sorry if the conversation is over but I just finished and I have to talk to someone. (None of my real life friends read so...) anyway I disliked magpie from the beginning but I NEED another book, a spin off whatever. And even if I don't like Magpie I feel like Nova needs her and totally deserves something great like that to happen.
Honestly Marissa Meyer is such a great author I would read anything she publishes.

I also disliked Magpie, but it makes sense about why she’s like that then. She waited her whole life hoping her sister would come to find her and had no family this whole time. I can’t believe that there wouldn’t be a spinoff with just throwing that information out there so I guess we just have to wait and see!!

Ok I just finished Supernova and aaaaahhhh.... Anyway I am super sad about Honey but the epilogue was such a mind blow omg also for some reason I hate when a character has an unknown identity so you know them by two names it just bothers me (ahem, cinder)

Addie, I agree because Nova really loves her sister and missed her. I want both of them to find each other

goodness i have so many questions after reading that ending and hope i don't have to wait forever for a follow-up story to give closure on that epilogue!!!!!!

ahhh the epilogue left me wanting so much more!!! i’m actually writing a fanfic that takes place after the epilogue and focuses on maggie’s and novas relationship a bit more haha

About there being a magpie spin-off I believe I heard people talking about how there was a mention of magpie in heartless or something? It may have been one of the other books but haven’t read them so I can’t be sure but yeah. 👍

Magpie herself wasn’t mentioned in Heartless but there is a couple at the King’s ball with the last name Magpie

I think Marissa definitely set it up so that she *can* write a spinoff if she wants, but I know she has so many projects in the works already, so I'm not sure if we'd get anything soon *cries* although, I really would love a new book in the Renegades world!!

Oh, & regarding Heartless, I'm not convinced there'd be a crossover :/ I think it was a coincidence, but I could be totally wrong.

A solo book about Magpie could be cool

I'm curious as to if it would backtrack & tell her story between when Nova thought she died & the end of the series or if it would end up being a continuation of the timeline. both could be interesting takes on Magpie's character
