'Blue Bloods' by Melissa De La Cruz is a vampire book series, and #1 is called 'Blue Bloods', and I'm pretty sure the TV show of the same name is about a Police team.

The Merciless is the book I chose for this topic.

Planning to read "The Last Samurai" by Helen DeWitt for this one. No relation to the Tom Cruise movie.

Borrowed Time by Tracy Clark has the same name as a 2015 Oscar-nominated, animated short drama.

I read 'Marked' by P.C. Cast and Kristin Cast, which is the same title as a ghost movie, but this one is about teenage vampires.
