Yes she is. Have you tried either of her other series? Are they as good as Black Jewels and The Others?

I'm in Ch 25 (view spoiler)[Monty's explanation to Lorenzo is so spot on. I'm glad someone can see the bigger picture here. The Controller needs to be put down for what he's done and is continuing to do. Best to help with the hunt and minimize the human cost. I loved that this story was broader than just Meg in the mail room, though we still have that too.

I've just started and I'm very curious!

The thing about the dry chapped skin is a very interesting as a theory...

That scene with her nightmare and Simon was hilarious!

Up to Ch 4 ... Yeah, the Controller and his business need to be eliminated with extreme prejudice!!!!!

Up to Ch 14... Wow! Things are simmering between the two sides and the forbidding feeling hanging over is thick and getting thicker... I don't see any way things are going to finish well...

Sam, Simon and Meg watching a movie together was awesome!!!! There is something so sweet about these stories, it makes up for the really horrible stuff that is happening around...

OMG!!! Skippy!!! So they have autistic spectrum puppies too... Now I am going to be scared for him getting hurt or killed by bad folks!!!

So, I hate the Controller and all of his cronies with passion!!! They all need to die!!! Jen breaks my heart!

@Choko: I've started, but then got slumped. Normally picking it up this weekend again, but indeed, the scene with Meg's nightmare and Simon was so funny!
I could visualize so easy the attack with the dogs.

Yeah, great way to put it. This series has a nice balance between horrible and charming moments.

I finished! Really loved it and the ending is everything I could have hoped for! I will stay and chat, Saar, so take your time! And Nerilka, you and I are on the same wavelength on this series!!! I thought Meg was going to be too much of a snowflake, but she is not! She is just nice and naive, but not vapid and winy, and I love her! And the big bad wolf is growing on me:-) Looking forward to the next book!!!

Yeah, that's a tad odd. I mean I get it since he isn't human but still odd.

Almost there, 100 pages left. Again, the Dutch version has a lot more pages than the original book.

Yes! Very much! I hope to finish it today. It has been a bit busy the last couple of days.

Finally finished! I'll put my thoughts/review this weekend. Now starting the next one :)
