Since this group is coming primarily from Avett Nation, How about Colleen Hoover's Slammed be our first book?

I have already read the book, but an EXCELLENT first pick. I read the book start to finish in 3 hours. Couldn't put it down.

Alright then. I'll create a discussion for "Slammed." If you've already finished the book, dive right in! My copy is on its way. And we can all just join in as we go. Just bare with me (I'm new here). If things disappear or move around at first, I'm just trying to figure out the best way to keep the conversations going/organized!

Ok, I added the book to the Group Bookshelf and set the read date to Dec 15th. This will certainly be a trial run, but I hope it works out because I am really excited about having a book club to read with! I'll also go in and set up a few more discussion folders for the group. There was also an option to assign "discussion leaders" for each book. Don't know what that entails, but volunteers would be appreciated while I sort it all out. Alright - now I just wait on the UPS truck!

Emilee, you will do great! I have been around here on Goodreads for several years and participate in a handful of groups. Feel free to PM me if you have any questions - but this is not rocket science! I am tickled to have my two social media vices converge on each other. :)

Have read the book a few times! Excellent choice for the first book. Can't wait to see what everyone thinks!

Just finished! Couldn't put it down...while I was getting ready to go see Jamestown Revival tonight. Probably a bad idea to finish reading the book right after applying mascara! Loved this book!

I can't wait for mine to get here. (Accidentally ordered the kindle version under the wrong account.) Waiting once again...!

Thanks for getting this going, Emilee. I've seen lots of comments about Slammed in the Nation, and have been intending to read it. You all are awesome but I hesitated to join this group because I'm not sure I'll have time to read - be patient with me, OK?

Take your time, Kim! I'm glad you decided to join. The date has been set for the 15th so that we will have a sort of jumping off point. Feel free to add to the discussion any time after that as well if you're not quite finished by then.
