BYL Reading Challenge discussion

I love fairy tales and fairy tale retellings, so let's explore some fairy stories or folk tales from other cultures.

Some suggestions:

We've got Aru Shah and the End of Time planned for our homeschool book club so I'll count that!

This could fall u see a couple of Challenges but I just read The Bear and the Nightingale. Wow. Russian folklore. It was amazing.

Just finished the book & I really enjoyed it! Enough that I'm going to break my "don't read sequels aloud" rule because I want to know what happens next! I look forward to discussing with the group of children to see what was each person's favorite part...there were so many!

I read Thirty Three Multicultural Tales to Tell by Pleasant DeSpain which contains stories from all around the world.

I read Tristan Strong Punches a Hole in the Sky by Kwame Mbalia.

I read The Golem and the Jinni by Helene Wecker for this category.

I used Odd and the Frost Giants for this one! But also could have counted Dragon Pearl, which I read with my kids.
