BYL Reading Challenge discussion

This can be a book from any country, so long as the author is a member of the minority group they are writing about.

I just finished The Girl with the Louding Voice by Abi Daré. It was fantastic! The main character, Adunni, is amazingly strong and you can’t help but root for her the whole way through.

I read Pachinko by Min Jin Lee. It’s about a Korean family in Japan from the 1930s to 1980s.

I loved Pachinko!
