The Three Pines discussion

I am rereading all the Gamache series. In "A Rule Against Murder" Gamache has a conversation with Daniel about naming his son Honore....in the following books all I hear about is Daniel's two daughters. I am confused. What did I miss?

Hm. I do not know! I will have to re-read the series. Jean Guy and Annie's son is Honore, isn't it?

No, there is a discussion between Armand and his son Daniel while Daniel is in Paris about why Honore is not a name he should burden his son with. This has to do with Armand's father (named the same) because he objected to entering WWII.

Correct. Armand did not think that Daniel should name his son Honore, but the baby was a girl so it did not matter.

Yes, and after re-reading the entire series, it is Annie and Jean G. who name their son Honore!
