Saragrace Knauf | 5 comments I am rereading all the Gamache series. In "A Rule Against Murder" Gamache has a conversation with Daniel about naming his son Honore....in the following books all I hear about is Daniel's two daughters. I am confused. What did I miss?

Diana | 17 comments Hm. I do not know! I will have to re-read the series. Jean Guy and Annie's son is Honore, isn't it?

Saragrace Knauf | 5 comments No, there is a discussion between Armand and his son Daniel while Daniel is in Paris about why Honore is not a name he should burden his son with. This has to do with Armand's father (named the same) because he objected to entering WWII.

Christine Hunt | 1 comments Correct. Armand did not think that Daniel should name his son Honore, but the baby was a girl so it did not matter.

Saragrace Knauf | 5 comments Yes, and after re-reading the entire series, it is Annie and Jean G. who name their son Honore!
