Apart from A Christmas Carol what are you reading this month.

For me, I'm planning to read A Man in Love, Jane Eyre, Measuring the World and I'm not sure what else. I'm thinking about finishing the Southern Reach Trilogy (Authority and Authority), then maybe In the First Circle or The Truth About the Harry Quebert Affair

Mish | 92 comments I'm currently reading How to Build a Girl - it started of really good, awkward and some extremely embarrassing scenes. Now I'm not too sure. I'm a little bored with it.

I have A Dog's Purpose and This House of Grief to read next.

Laurie I just started Emma and I plan to read A Clockwork Orange, We Were Liars, Cover Her Face and possibly If on a Winter's Night a Traveler.

I look forward to A Christmas Carol since I've seen several movie versions but have never read it.

Be prepared for the crazy dialogue in A Clockwork Orange. I couldn't finish it because of it.

I had to give it up for now because of the dialogue as well. I just finished struggling through Ulysses, and I'm simply not up for dealing with more difficult dialogue. I'll give it a try some other time.

Kristin Yeah As I Lay Dying was also a difficult read for me because of the dialogue, but I managed to finish it.

Taylor L. (leibbrandt12) | 1 comments I know that we are quickly approaching the end of the year, but if anyone needs an inspiring book for the new year, I would strongly suggest All The Light We Cannot See by Anthony Doerr. Absolutely captivating; so few adjectives grasp the power of this novel to incite emotion and feeling in the reader.
