War and Peace discussion

I am looking to dive into War and Peace and this translation has been recommended to me.

I also like that it is split into three books; easier to hold I imagine!

I wondered if anyone had read this edition and could answer these questions?

Are the names anglicised?
Are the French passages in French?

In fact I'm French and I read it in french.

What I can tell you is that even if you don't have an edition that is "perfect" just read the book it is worth it :)

I have the 1993 edition (English) translated and abridged by Kropotkin. I find it an excellent translation.

The French dialog is mostly not translated into English.
