A Short History of Nearly Everything
question
Science good reads

I am currently using Audible to listen to A Short History of Nearly Everything by Bill Bryson. I am enjoying this book so much! I love learning new stuff and especially anything dealing with all areas of science. I hate to see this book end, does anyone out there recommend another book similar to this one that would be really great for me to start next?

I am yet to find similar books that cover so many areas of science,. These are some books that are a little bit more specific but also very interesting :-)
- Behave: The Biology of Humans at Our Best and Worst, a book on biology and human nature
- The Emperor of All Maladies: A Biography of Cancer , a book about the history of cancer research,
- The Body: A Guide for Occupants, a book about, you guessed it, the science of the body, also written by Bill Bryson.

Anything by Mary Roach, but Packing for Mars, Gulp and Stiff are my favorites.
She is like Bill Bryson in that she is curious by nature and then distills the learning to the reader in a clear and humorous way.
