Number of years playing: This is my first! I did my first few team challenges last year (The Floor is Lava and Tower Teams over at NBRC). I've seen a lot of people talk about how UNO is their favorite, though!

Something about me: I read a little bit of everything, but my favorites are fantasy, scifi, horror, and LGBT romance. My other hobbies are writing fiction, knitting, and playing tabletop and video games. Also, I've just started to try running - two weeks into Couch to 5k!

We actually aren't using TinEye in this challenge. If the captain/co-captain feel it's green then it's green. If we aren't sure we ask in the Captain's Group to see what the general consensus is.

Yes I would say that cover is green. Tin Eye is notorious for being weird about colors. Like, I wouldn’t be surprised if it says it’s blue when it clearly looks green.

So, I've never had Panna Cotta before so I looked up a recipe. I might try to make this during UNO as a "team spirit" thing...

Okay so for those of you that are novices to this UNO game, the first thing we usually need to do is find all the color cover books that will work for our hands this month. This month we need to find 12 color cover books: 5 are duplicates of the 7 we were dealt.

So here are the books I have on my planned reading shelf that might work:

Blue 3 (H - Jane Hawk MC) or 6 (S - Title) -
Green 4 (F - Author LN Fluke) -
Blue 3 (H - Hannah MC) or 6 (S - Swensen MC) -
Yellow 4 (F - Flavia MC) -
Green 4 (F - Author Ferrari) -
Blue 6 (S - Place - St. Louis) -

If you could each take some time to look through your shelves to see what color books you could cover that would be awesome! Hopefully we will all be able to find books to cover these. Plus we'll have a mini-challenge sometime in February so we'll need to work together on that one too.

Hi everyone! I'm Jess. My uno shelf is here

I've done this challenge before in 2016, and did half of 2017 before being diagnosed with cancer which forced me to drop out. Now that I'm all good and healthy again, I'm super excited to do this challenge after too long!

I'm a 27 year old Australian with a degree in biomedical science but I work in medical reception. Sci fi and horror are some of my favourites, but I read a bit of everything. I also love tea, flamingos, photography, weird fashion, and my pet rats! <3

I'll have to have a look through my books and see what I may be able to get to work for Feb's special cards. I'm doing the PopSugar and Read Harder challenges this year, so will try to draw as many books as I can from those prompts as well :)

Edit: I'll do some more research on cover colours to see what I can find. I'm easy to read basically whatever, so no doubt I'll find some to fill in the gaps :)

I found a couple on my list for Blue 6 if we need them:

Thank goodness we don't need chunky books for this challenge!! Of course you can read them if you want too ;) But shorter books will go faster and we can fill in more cards reading shorter ones.
Also, no worries on the color cards for now, seems we have plenty of those at the moment.

Good morning everyone! I am Angela and I currently live in East Tennessee. I moved up here from Florida about a year ago and am still getting acclimated to the weather changes. :)

This is my second year of the UNO Challenge. I decided to sign up for it again since I had fun with it last year.

I read a good mix of every genre and like being pushed out of my comfort zone so send me any good title recs that you have!
