Daniela (girlmeetbooks) | 4 comments I honestly already finished the book and I'm really glad we picked it !! I really like the concept and the book's atmosphere

Amy (atheya) | 1 comments I found the mystery of this book to be set up fairly well. It was engaging and interesting, and though I had my theories at to what happened, it wasn't an obvious ending. That honestly the most important part of books like this for me However, I found some aspects of this novel to be particularly annoying-- mainly, the whole "quirky" teen thing. It's so hard to do right, and Ellie was simply annoying. I hated her, and she seemed simply too unrealistic than I think the authour intended. Stevie was almost too quirky for me as well, but she got better later on in the book, and later on in the series. Also, David sucks too. Not sure where his appeal exactly lies, he seems like a D-bag.

yeah i found the mystery to be planned out well and i really loved the atmosphere, but it was the characters that really disappointed me. i found none relatable and i found it really hard to like any of them. i didn't really like the romance but that was probably because i hated david and pretty much every character.
