2. I've been on Goodreads since March 2013. O.o
3. I've read KitC 1-4, part of 5; about 70% of Elements of Chemistry, 70% of the Hooker and the Hermit, and 35% of Truth or Beard.

The Hunger Games (Collins)
Painted Faces (Cosway)
The Kite Runner (Hosseini)
The Book Thief (Zusak)
Edenbrooke (Donaldson)
Everything is Illuminated (Safran Foer)

I'm Alana Lee Rock, book pimp with a fedora, finder of lost things, 'loonyalana the loony vibrating moon maiden' or sometimes known as Slave-CD-Goddess-Helper-Fairy-Elf. Yeah, I know, I'm a total freak and I own up to that label.
I've been here at GR for... well, shoot... OK, looked it up, apparently I've been here since August 2011. Has it really been so long?
I'm still working my way through all of Penny's books, because I prefer audio, and I'm waiting for audio to catch up and release and all that jazz... but I digress. OK. Penny's books:

Favorite authors/books(I'll try and reign myself in but no promises!) (Anytime I list a 'series' book, most likely, I love that entire series.)

OK. I'll stop. Breathe easy, ladies. Something weird about myself (teehee, oh the choices) ... during college I actually had - not one - but two, count them, two warrents for my arrest for overdue library books and unpaid fines (the fines totalled less than $20). I shit you not. Oh, and I got a campus parking ticket dismissed by G.W. Bailey (of The Closer and Police Academy movies fame). I've also got to hang out with George Clinton's granddaughter and band P-funk during their mothership landing concert. I totally inhaled.
For more information, you'll just have to ask and draw those stories out naturally. I promise I have more.

2. I have been on goodreads since January 2010
3. I have read all of Penny's books and am desperately waiting for the next one to come out.
4. Favorites are Penny of course, Colleen Hoover, Stephenie Meyer (first book I read outside of required school reading was Twilight I was 24 and all my life before then I thought I hated reading), Hunger Games (my daughter's middle name is Rue).
5. I can touch my nose with my extra long tongue. I asked the first guy I kissed if I was going to gag him with my tongue if we french kissed. We tried and no I could not gag him. Good news that boy is my husband of 12 years.

Adding Covers 101:
Just above the little box to write your post, or reply, or whatever your heart desire you to write (here on GR), it's in like brown or khaki or some funky ass color, there are the words "add book/author" and "(some html is ok)". If you 'click' on "add book/author" it will bring up a pop-up search. You can choose to search by author, by title, or my favorite- half the title with half the author's name. Then when it shows the book you want to add, go to the BOTTOM of that search/list and make sure 'cover' is 'checked' instead of 'title' and click "add" (on the right - beside the cover you want to add) and *

3. I've read all of Penny's books thus far and I have every intention in keeping with that tradition. (Penny's my spirit animal)
4. It's hard to pick favorties but a few of my "I'll buy anything they write" authors...Kristen Ashley, Christina Lauren, Krista/Becca Ritchie, Penelope Douglas, Jenn Cooksey and of course the Lovely and magnificent Penny Reid.
5. Fun/Weird Fact: I have a ridiculous and somewhat crippling fear of wet paper and or stickers touching my skin. No joke.
Looking forward to chatting with you all!!!

I've been on Goodreads since May 2009, but not necessarily active until maybe the last couple of years.
I've read all your books, more than once, (NSH maybe 3 or 4 times), even the short stories! When I read NSH after it came out in 2013 there was nothing else I could find of yours but I got lucky and found the short stories before they disappeared and read them. I'm so happy there is more stories and I'm anxiously awaiting the rest!
Favorite authors: Penny Reid, of course! J.K.Rowling, Tara Sivec, C.C. Wood, L.H. Cosway, Amy Harmon, Mia Sheridan, Anie Michaels, Laurie Roma, Christina Lauren, Emma Chase, Z.B. Heller, L.A. Fiore,Stephen King, Dean Koontz, Joe Hill, Jasper Fforde to name a few....

Weird fact...I am not able to smell, it is a blessing (working in a hospital) and a curse, I do miss the good smells too...I don't know when it went away but for sure over 20 years without

I can taste food fine, as far as I know I must taste food the same as everyone because I like all the foods that most people enjoy....sweets especially!
I can kinda smell peanut butter, I think that is why I love everything peanut butter :)

2. How long you've been on goodreads: Since Feb. 2014
3. Which of Penny's books you've read (if any): All except NMH.
4. Some of your favorite authors/books: I can't answer that. See #5 for reason.
5. Something weird about yourself: I don't have favorites, with the rare exception of favorite color (green) and favorite flower (rose).

2. I think I'm on GR since this spring.
3. I've read all of Penny's Book, at least twice each... #notcreepyatall xD
4. favorite authors/books ? hmmm... very hard to answer I read almost 130 books a year xD. I love romance (historical, highlanders ♥ , paranormal, bitlit, contempory...), science-fiction, steampunk, Stephen King, Terry Pratchett, Neil Gaiman, Gini Koch, Sarah MacLean, Ilona Andrews, Rainbow Rowell...
5. Something weird about yourself... ? oh I'm very creepy, I have more Doctor Who goodies per square meter at home than anybody ^^ I always have a screwdriver in my purse, more Dalek pets than real pets I had in my life (1 cat when I was young vs 6 Daleks)...
also I could read for many hours in a row, only stopping because I'm hungry. most sunday I only do 3 things : sleeping, reading, eating. #hermitunited

We've got the sonic screwdrivers on their way to us, I've been waiting for the fez to ship for days now... and the remote control Tardis? Well, he's 6 and it's about time he learns that you don't always get everything you ask for from Santa. But we did get him this to try and help make up for it:

I don't have kids yet but I will breed them with holy tales of TARDIS adventures ^^
I'm Cyndi and Penny beat me to the game of making boards...
1. I'm Cyndi. I <3 books
2. September 2008 - SAY WHAT?
3. I've read everything that is currently published and I have access to. So if there are short stories ::cough:: that were limited edition ::cough:: I haven't read it.
4. Anne Bishop, Phillip Pullman, Penny Reid (duh?), Richelle Mead. A whole lot more. I go through phases.
5. There is a soundtrack playing in my head at all times. If you ever meet me, ask what song is playing. This is why I totally appreciate playlists at the end of books or Spotify playlists.

2. 2011. Not quite sure how I ever existed without goodreads, however.
3. Penny? Who's Penny? Just kidding. I've read everything. I'm slightly ridiculous.
4. Currently? Ilona Andrews. I also enjoy Jeaniene Frost, Jennifer Armentrout, Wendy Higgins, J.R. Ward, Karina Halle, Charlaine Harris, Patrick Rothfuss, Chloe Neill, Darynda Jones, Laurell K. Hamilton, Karen Marie Moning, Jim Butcher, and Gena Showalter.(I'm cutting myself off there).
5. As a teenager, my friends and I had a nasty habit of stealing lawn ornaments and relocating them to new homes. One may or may not have been a cow, and it may or may not have ended up in one of the snotty girls from high schools front lawn. It was, however, symbolic. As an adult, I feel sort of bad about this. Most of the time. Not the cow, though. NOT THE COW!

I have NEVER heard anyone else mention Jasper Fforde, I love his books but nobody ever knows who he is....I just mentioned to Penny that she should give the Thursday Next series a try, I think she would enjoy the humor/quirkiness. I met him at a signing at Murder by the book many years ago, maybe around 2003ish, he was so awesome to listen to and he had these fun stamps he used with his signing...I wish he'd come back around!

1.Im Hajar
2.Me and my friend Goodreads have been together since December 2012.
3.I have read ALL of Penny's books and i L.O.V.E them all.
4.Favourite author and books tadaaah~:

5. what i found myself weird?well.i think i am too naive.seriously naive,if a person told me theres a bunny on the moon i am actually believed it....now with the power of internet i can say im pretty much more alert now even though i can be slipping myself with such myth.hehehe..

Welcome, Roobarb :-D
I, also, can't read horror. But I do read Steven King. I feel like he straddles the line (sometimes) between literary fiction and horror quite well (e.g. Misery or The Stand)

Dean koontz straddles that line, too... although a few of his books can be a little 'religiousy'... that's word, right? Well it is now. But Odd Thomas I thought was a nice mix, but oh, the tears! But, my first reading 'love' was horror. I was one of those bizzare elementary and junior high kids that sucked down horror and Poe and King and all kinds of crazy. Now I'm all about the romance.... which is really weird. I used to totally secretly mock my mother and her bodice-ripper romance books. Well played, karma. Well played.

That doesn't even really cover it all.
The weird thing about me is that I am a picky eater. Like a four year old. Don't give me anything green without warning me first.

Have you read The City by Koontz? Really great read.

I have to admit... several books ago I stoped reading because he was getting too preachy for me. That, and I've kind of gotten addicted to romance, and romance is not Koontz's strong suit. At all.

1. Hi, I'm Elle. I live in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
2. I've been on Goodreads since May 2013
3. All the Knitting books. I've finished my rereads of

4. Among others, I love to read Nalini Singh, Kristen Ashley, Roxie Rivera, JD Robb and Jane Ausent
5. I hate eggs. All kinds and styles of eggs. (except Cadbury).

1. I'm Nicole. I live in/near Sacramento, California.
2. I've been on Goodreads since 2012.
3. I've read all of Penny's books...that I know of...
4. My favorite book is Ferdinand the Bull by Munro Leaf. I love lots of other books, mainly romance books, thrillers and dystopians. I'd say my favorite authors these days are Penny (not just blowing smoke) and Christina Lauren.
5. I hate the sound of cardboard. Ripping. Boxes being put together. Taken apart. All of it.

2. Been on GoodReads since September 2012
3. I have read all of Penny's books published as yet and will read all published in the future.
4. Some of favorite authors are Nalini Singh, Karen Marie Moning, Larissa Ione, Heather Killough-Walden, Penny Reid, Samantha Young, Amy Harmon, Kristen Ashley, Shelly Laurenston and Paulo Coelho. I love almost all of their books. Apart from their's, some books and series I like are Stage Dive Series by Kylie Scott, Until Series by Aurora Rose Reynolds, The English Brothers by Katy Regnery, Off Series by Sawyer Bennett, The Wallbanger by Alice Clayton, My Coyote Ugly Life by Jessica Spoon and Beautiful Bastard by Christina Lauren.
That was too much I guess.
5. I don't like anything out of order but I don't have OCD. My brother takes too much of an advantage of the fact.

2. I've been on Goodreads since April 2011.
3.Umm I don't think I've read any of Penny's books...just kidding. I've read all the published ones. I'm missing some of her short stories.
4.Favorite Authors: In no particular order: Penny Reid, Laura Florand, Lisa Kleypas, Colleen Hoover, Abbi Glines, Jamie McGuire, Nicole Williams, Nalini Singh, Shiloh Walker, Kristen Ashley, Samantha Young, Kylie Scott, Alice Clayton, Emma Chase, Brenda Joyce, Kristen Callihan, Megan Mulry, Jane Porter, Megan Crane, Tiffanie Debartolo, Paullina Simons, Heather Graham, Phillipa Ashley, Pippa Croft, Ali McNamara, Harriet Evans, Paige Toon, Ciara Geraghty, Clodagh Murphy, and so many more!
5.Weird thing about me: I'm OCD when it comes to my books. And I speed read. I also am a book hoarder.

I think I've been on Goodreads for about 3 and a half years now, maybe a bit longer and I love it here. Don't really know how I got my book recommendations earlier. o.O
As any good fan, I've read each and every of Penny's books I've been able to get my hands on. In fact, I just ordered paperback copies of her books and I should receive NSH in 9 days or so.
I have tons of books and authors I really like, but only a handful of those I really love... In some authors case I love all of their works (e.g. Penny Reid and Jane Austen), but in some cases I seem to love only a couple of their books (e.g. R. Lee Smith's The Last Hour of Gann and Sarra Manning's You Don't Have to Say You Love Me).
Weird thing about me: I'm a bit like Janie from Penny's KitC series since I *may* be prone to saying some really random tidbits about this or that. For instance, we were playing disc golf at our christmas event at work and whilst playing I randomly asked if it was either Betula pubescens (European white birch) or Betula pendula (Silver birch) right next to us. I was really intrigued which one it was and I had been thinking real hard about it for good five minutes when I finally asked about it from my colleagues, but for some reason they started laughing out loud. o.O

I'm Charmaine, one of the 3 of us here at our blog. Nice to be part of this group!
I've been on GR for a couple of years personally but under the blog handle for the last year. Couldn't live without it!
I've read every Penny Reid book I can get my hands on! And am also happily guilty of re-reading them. A lot.
I have too many favorite authors to list! Seriously! Obviously Penny Reid is on that list, Roald Dahl, Kate Atkinson, Nicole Peeler, Ilona Andrews, Tara Sivec, I could keep on!
Ok weird thing... I have extreme velvet issues. As in if I touch velvet or anything with a similar texture eg a peach, then my hands and teeth start hurting(?) and I feel like throwing up. I have NO idea why. One time a family member put my baby in a velour outfit and I almost collapsed in horror. Just writing this makes me feel gross....

2. been on GR as a serious commitment for almost a year now.
3. I've read all the knitting in the series books and i'm eagerly awaiting elements of chemistry and the winston brothers! :)
4. Hmmmm.... I have so many "favorites". I literally read everything i get my hands on so there's that. My most recent favorite has to be "The Tea Rose" by Jennifer Donnely. WONDERFUL novel....
5. I can be wildly inappropriate at times. Like.... awkward. >.>

1. I am Jane (also a member of FB sharks)
2. I officially joined Goodreads in April of 2014, but used it to get book suggestions, reviews, and book lists for years before!!!
3. Read all of Penny Reid's books (because they are super awesome!!!) and cannot wait for all the greatness that is coming this year and next and the one after that!!!
4. I have sooo many favorites, of course including Penny Reids books... some others would be The History of Love by Nicole KraussThe History of Love, all of Tara Sivecs booksTara Sivec, Deborah Harkness books Deborah Harkness ,Kim Harrison books Kim Harrison... goodness the list will go on endlessly so I will stop myself but so many more, you can check out my profile to see the books I loved.
5. Something weird... hmm I just got my tongue re-pierced... so weird I know, but I had it for 14 years and then felt it was time to let it go... but after a year I missed it, so I did it again and now its taking forever to heal, so I'm lisping every time I talk. Apparently I am stuck as a 90's teenager in my head. Definitely time to grow up... but I don't want to :)

That is sooo funny, my best friend is the same way, she couldn't even stay in the shop with me while I was getting it done, and she's a nurse! Haha

I second that :)

2. I've been addicted to GR since 2012
3. I've read Penny's books just last year and I fell in love with the Knitting in the City series (and the next books to come)
4. I've got a lot of favorite books and authors and Penny Reid is definitely one of them ;)
5. I can be really loud and awkward. I suck at spelling. And I hate dentist chair. They're the work of the devil.
