6th if you count the book I finished from last month and my one manga.

Who knows I might end up helping my team for the Genre win! ^_^
Go Bookbuyer!
Staying healthy (to the best of my knowledge lol) but family is keeping me busy. Things should hopefully start mellowing out next week and I'll be more active. I've read maybe 50 pages this month so far. Terrible for me but with everything going on its such a low priority to read.

That's good.
Family is definitely more important than reading! Make sure you have me time too though. :)

I squeeze a few minutes every here and there. Honestly though, my family needs me far more than I need myself right now. My husband especially is having a really hard time. I think some things will go back to "normal" next week. At least in terms of arrangements, phone calls, tasks, etc. Emotionally I will still be on guard duty for support.

Spain is too but everyone is going crazy. We still didn't get beef today but we got some other meat. We got some veggies today too. It's kind of a toss up of what you might get and basically luck at this point.
Crazy crazy things happening. This is why I just like to stay at home and read or game lol. Be safe when you go it to stores everyone. And I hoe everyone stays healthy.

Same for me mostly but I still have to at least take Ruby out so I'm not completely home bound. :)
Oh we take the dogs out and still have work etc but at least I can enjoy meh time at home. Some people I know are going pre-stir crazy at the very idea of not going out.

I can only really do an hour a day out anyway. So it doesn't bother me too much. :)

I wish I could. My work gave me more hours since all the 65+ or those with health concerns can't work. And work is SLOW which makes it worse! Honestly wish they'd lock my county down like all the others around me. Then I can go hide in a book. With the stress of the past few weeks on a personal level, and now this virus, I need my escapes!

No it's not good but people from other county's are coming here because we are the only one up and running pretty much. :( Which is causing its own issues and some ugly fights. Had to call the police 6 times just today due to violent outbreaks. I don't feel safe at work right now.

Honestly, all this hysteria has caused so much trouble and stress in everyone. No matter where you are or what is going on. And every day it's changing. I hate the unknown on things like this! Stupid media can't keep anythings straight either.

Have stores mellowed where you are? I hope people are at least being kinder to each other there than here.

That is horrible! :(

:(
What about you Sans? I know most of your areas on that shelter lockdown. Are you? My niece is and has to work from home but I think she is liking it (for now at least...). She has several roommates to keep each other going.
My main reading has been old Harry Potter fanfics lol. Just a bit here and there on my phone. I keep trying on a physical book and ebook but not much luck.
So mostly tv watching when I get home. Mostly Agent Carter and Attack on Titan right now.

I never really got into fanfics... :/
I'm sure you will find a book that will get you out of our head! ^_^ I like to read skip beat for that because it always makes me laugh and ocassionally cry or just feel pure joy. :D
I've been binging Big Bang and watching some new reality shows while waiting for my shows to be translated. :)

I’m getting some reading done today and I’ll pop back in after dinner to catch up with you all. I hope you’re all safe and healthy!

Our county refused until the gov order. Even though every county around us had. :(
Sorry your workload has increased.

I have been cleaning a lot lately too. Gave myself a cough from the dust (at least it better just be the dust) in our basement. Was hoping to get out to my library for some re-shelving but it is suppose to rain this week and my library is a converted shed so.... maybe not.

I am worried about how where they will stop it but still liking it so far.

Work closed Friday finally. Now I am home with pay for 2 weeks. Not sure what will happen after those 2 weeks though... Then again I don't think anyone does. Crazy times...
So mostly just cleaning my house or my mother-in-law's. She is having a tough time. Bad enough to be locked down when you are an extrovert like her but to have just lost her husband ...I can't imagine fairly how alone she is feeling. Luckily the order isn't so tight I can't visit her. Although I sort of don't want to as I worry about her getting sick if I or my husband are.
I hope things mellow a bit of the work front. My hubby is in the same boat, working harder than ever amidst all this stress and chaos.

I like the rain luckily. And we just cut our lawn yesterday so fresh cut grass, and rain.. YES!!! Soothing sights and smells.
And I wish rain would keep people in here. For some reason whenever it rains people go shopping more than ever here. I always wonder if people have a bunch of leaky roofs here or something. Maybe this time will be different but I doubt it since so many aren't taking this seriously (including my own extended family).

Cleaning is a great way to pass the time!
That is really tough. If she is an extrovert she would probably like to grieve by being surrounded by friends and family which isn't really possible. Does she skype at least? That might be an option.

I don't. My SAD is in full effect now. :( Plus Ruby hates getting wet so she is not enjoying being outside when she is able to go out.
I'm happy you like it. It's really nice if you don't have to go outside. :)

Does she have a phone she can do it with? Like with Iphones?

I should clarify. I like the rain in small increments. But when it is nothing but rain and overcast for days straight then I have a rough time (its why I hate January). But a couple good hours here and there are nice. Which is what it is supposed to be *fingers crossed*
Wet dog however is less fun.

She might not be able to with everyone but that might make it a bit easier for her and you can check up on her with it. ^_^
Anna 'Bookbuyer' wrote: "That's one of the reasons I'm not doing too bad. I mostly socialize on the internet anyway. It's a lot harder for the people who don't."
Yeah I am doing okay. Stressed as hell about the situation and its repercussions but I don't need all the out of the house socializing normally so all good there. But she is very active with several clubs, Arts commission boards, city choral, orchestra, substitute teacher, etc. I have never known her to not have something on the calendar nor ever known her to stay home all day. So for this, and then to be alone in the house... It doesn't work. If I don't go over, she comes here or goes to the stores just to get out. :(

That's really sad. I can sympathize. My brother was saying that a lady. I think an older lady was at the grocery store today just trying to talk to ANYONE. She was saying how lonely she was.
I think the younger generation. Like under 40 will be doing better with this then the 40+. We grew up in a world with technology and have adapted to it.
