sammi_reads (samtheseahippie) | 21 comments Hi! Looking for a very specific one I read about 15-20 years ago. It was about a high school girl and ends in a big dance or party. The specific detail I remember that may help is they go snowboarding and the love interest teaches her how to tell if she's goofy or regular (footing for snowboarding). There's also a dragonfly charm bracelet. I think the main girl's name was Ashley.
Whole thing is very similar to a modern Cinderella, like A Cinderella Story, in her circumstances etc.

sammi_reads (samtheseahippie) | 21 comments I have googled this a lot and get a lot of books that came out in the past 5-10 years, but not this one.

Christine Indorf | 5 comments Its Cinder I think you are looking for. A good read and has I believe 4 sequels to it.

Asia | Adventures with Asia Minor (booknerd117) | 210 comments It's not Cinder. It's fairly new, and also futuristic. Cinder, the MC, is also a cyborg. That being said, Cinder is a really good series.

(Sorry, I don't know the book you're trying to find, Samantha :( )

sammi_reads (samtheseahippie) | 21 comments Thanks for the help! I added both to my to read list.
I got an answer to this about an hour ago from a friend's sister, it's Cinderella 2000. I just skimmed it and that's the book! Sadly, not as cute as I remembered, the heroine is kind of a brat.
Not sure how to move this into Solved...

Glad you found your book, Samantha. Here's the link - Cinderella 2000: Looking Back . . . by Mavis Jukes.
