Kathy I just finished reading The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian by Sherman Alexie . It was a quick, easy read and I enjoyed it. This story is required reading in many schools, but it is also challenged and banned by many schools and parents as being inappropriate for certain ages. It does have some more mature themes, swearing and sexual references. But I don't think I would have a problem with my high schooler reading it.

The one I read wasn't actually there. I read The Awakening by Kate Chopin The Awakening by Kate Chopin

Lotte Downey | 10 comments I decided to read Being There by Jerzy Kosinski. I had to read it in school, but my parents did not want me to read it at that time. Guess it qualifies as required reading.....just a little late in finishing the assignment ;-)

Natasha | 12 comments This will be the last category I tackle for this challenge this year. I will be reading Heart of Darkness by Joseph Conrad. Hope everyone is doing well with this challenge, only a few weeks to go.
