I am still curious about how it will pan out in the end of course, but man, did I not like Hans as the Frozen's villain.
also, I'm glad that Anna has a hobby. now that I think about it, some princesses have none at all.

I had a thought that Freya was a cover-up, and that she was actually Iduna. I'm glad she wasn't because I think that would have over simplified things. Plus, I always love to be surprised. It is interesting how Hans was introduced. I still hate him. One prediction is that maybe he won't be a piece of trash in this one??

Freya wasn't a cover-up for Iduna? I must've missed something because after all the chapters I still keep thinking they are the same person, hah.
I like Hans' introduction. But as much as I wanted him to be at least partly redeemed, I think he will not be. All the characters have kept their personality intact so far as I see it, so there is little chance

Anna's parents said she was apart of Iduna's court. Unless that was a continuation of the cover-up?? I've only read the first 9 chapters thus far. By the end of 9, I can say that I agree with you on Hans. He said some nice things but then quickly became the territorial twit I remember.

Yeah, I’m really excited to see where they take Hans in this book

I have read only first 10 chapters (it was the only one in Hans' POV, so I was curious), but it did not elaborate further about Iduna so yeah, I still think this was a further cover-up backstory. I don't think it would make much sense to introduce an OC only to kill her off, when we know that Freya's visits would fit perfectly the timing of Iduna's trips. And I am not sure that a seamstress, even if she was a part of the court servants, would be given royal carriage and guards to manage her personal affairs. Though it is certainly possible, as Anna did not seem to think it odd.
Funny how Hans has quickly become the topic of the day haha.

If she created Olaf this early in the story, some of it doesn't make sense. Of course it could be just me wrongly interpreting the movie. But I find it hard to believe that Elsa, who saw Olaf, a good thing which came from her powers and was not monstrous would be on the day of her coronation almost the same as Elsa who only new her powers as sudden bursts of inanimate and cold ice that encaged her in her room for so many years. After three years with Olaf I would imagine she'd get her powers under control, or at the very least get familiar with them and not see them as this horrible thing.
Now that I think about it further, I suppose this could mean that we will not get a Let It Go segment in this one.
