Puddingtalk (Marie) (puddingtalk) I like writing about happiness, and silly boys in love. I like to write about saving the human race, and smiles and people who learn how to fly. I like to write about witty angels who hold the devil's hand for kicks. I like to write about superheroes with sex addiction, paper dolls who want to swim, and little girls with polka dotted dress.

I like to write about happiness.

Because I know sadness. I've met it before, I've shaken it's hand and told it: "Yeah, I hate you. Goodbye." And I just told my brain that I don't want to be sad anymore, so I talked to people. And they've seen sadness too. But not like I have, they've lived with it. So I talk to them.

I've met a girl who was raped. Befriended someone that was beaten with a 2 by 4 because she talked too long on a cell phone. Made acquaintance's with my roommate's girlfriend whose mother tried to murder her husband. Danced with my best friend who acts as the unappreciated mother of her wrecked family. I've talked with a girl who has to move constantly or her family will be deported back to the hell the moved away from. I've met potheads that tried to commit suicide. A guy who got kicked out of his house because he was gay. People with Cinderella stories. Women with cancer.

Some people may know sadness. But most only know their own, and don't give a damn about other people's. But I do. And I write about happiness to give them something different to read, apart from the constant poems and stories about heartbreak, death and doom.

Don't like it?

Don't read it.
